In my eye wisdom is how you discern what is knowledge. Knowledge is truth whereas wisdom is how you determine what is truth.
Fair enough, but I stand by my origional definition.
Knowlege is knowing that the tomato is a fruit, wisdom is knowing not to put it in a fruit salad.

Death, because then I don't have to deal with them. What do want? I'm bitter and cynical.

Curiosity
Honesty
Humor
The ability to say,"ok, you proved me wrong with well researched facts and documented cases, i have changed my views on that issue and do not hate you for it."

I don't know why people seem to think ending gives things meaning. Life itself can easily be meaning enough.

Who said I thought it gave things meaning? All I said was I'd be happier with less people pissing me off.

I misread it while listening to a youtube video about the same topic.

Self-discipline.
If you can't control yourself you can't begin to control your life, your fate, or your world. Nor do you deserve to if you can't master your own wishes and actions.
A virtue by which I live my life.

For right now? Then I'd say, the best quality to have is to be rich; a multi-trillionaire.

How else can we privatize the space program?
Why do we need to privatize the space program?
So that we can eventually colonize other planets, and increase our chances of survival in case the Earth becomes uninhabitable.

Then we can afford to be as nice and as humble and as ambitious as we possibly can.

"263 roweem", CAPTCHA? WTF.
Because in every work of fiction where there is a Space-faring Corporation, everything turns out A-OK!

Weyland-Yutani, Lunar Industries, Union Aerospace Corporation... to name a few.
Not to mention how privatizing colonization in a certain other "New World" turned out a few hundred years ago (for the colonizers that is)

Wisdom.

If we were all wise we would have no problems.
/thread. All other traits mentioned are all measured against the rubric of this.

Moving on...
You don't just get wisdom. You seek it. You need curiosity to get it. However, you need to seek it relentlessly to get the good stuff so determination and ambition are important to obtain wisdom as well.
Arn't you talking about knowledge? I thought wisdom came from mistakes, being able to see whats right and wrong and actually being able to assess an entire situation. It would be kinda hard to seek that out wouldn't it?

Does it actually come from something other than expierence?

Tolerance.
All negative outcomes of all people-related situations have stemmed from one person not accepting another person's ideals.

Compassion/Acceptance

Think about it, if we can make war obsolete, and focus all innovation on science and technology that isn't based on warfare, how far forward would humanity move?

Imagination. Nothing ever gets done without it. It is the basis for love, empathy, passion and ingenuity. I'd take it first over any other quality.

Aggression.

I postulate that the problems caused by passivity outnumber the problems caused by aggression by at least 5 to 1. Be aggressive. Win life.

Love. It makes the world go round.
Boy I really want to say something mean here....
Cynisim is the incompetent twin of Wisdom.
Talk to me when you learn to spell.
What I meant to say is remarks on wisdom or the lack thereof are greatly undermined by the use of incorrect spelling or grammar. To wit, your "I'm smarter than you" argument falls flat on its face. The correct spelling is cynicism.

Also your implication that cynics are somehow crippled in their ability to perceive or handle the world is 100% wrong. For example, unlike most people I know I have never been in a car accident because 1) I look where I'm going and 2) I make no assumptions about other drivers. Cynicism tells me other drivers can't be trusted to do the smart thing so I always stay out of their way. I have never been in serious debt because I'm smart enough not to max out fifty credit cards nor have I ever had an overdraft charge. I have never been caught flat-footed when a subordinate at work did something exceptionally dumb (because I learn to expect it from certain people), rather I usually fix the problem in less time than it takes others to sort out what the problem is. The list goes on.
