I thought you couldn't pick pocket apparel... OH GOD WHAT HAVE I DONE?

Most characters are rigged to automatically equip the best armour possible. So just drop a Power Armour Helmet or something into his pants when he doesn't notice it (I love how characters don't notice when 600 kilograms of exotic metal mysteriously lands in their pockets), leave the cell (possibly wait a day or two) and return, and he should be wearing the new helmet, and have his old stuff in his pockets.

lol, never tried that, I tried using a mezzer on him once but his head kind of exploded so I stopped using that
