who's your favorite super hero/super hero team and why?

I've got to say I love the X-Men. It really makes you think about society, prejudice, and has really some of the best characters in the biz. It also gives a good (almost) realistic reason for super powers.

My favorite X-Men are (top five )
-Chamber from Gen X (currently Decibel after House of M >_< I hate House of M)
-Gambit
-Emma Frost
-Wolverine
-Shadowcat

Mine is a tie, I love Deadpool, but I don't know if you could call him a super hero. Seems more out for his own good rather than the good of all.

Second is Hulk. Come on, he can destroy worlds on accident. No other hero can even withstand Blackbolts whisper, but hulk beat him? He rules.

Don't know how much he's a super hero.. but Lobo, being thrown out of heaven, and then out of hell is pretty badass.

I have to say Batman. He has no superpowers yet he can own a lot of people. I mean look at his arch-villain. The Joker, the hero that has to put up with him has to be awesome. So I have to say Batman is my frist favorite hero. Second has to be watchmen. Rorsacah(SP?) was just awesome.

I would have to go with Iceman and Captain America(Steve Rogers) being my all-time favorite characters.
Favorite team at this point would have to be The Boys.

I would say another Alan Moore hero : Miracleman, also known as Marvelman. If you haven't read this series, go look for it. I believe there's at least a TPB out for it, but to me, this will always beat The Watchmen.
