the ending with the best cliff hanger would be Assassins Creed Brotherhood, but the most satisfying ending would be uncharted 2. loved it.

If we're talking this generation I'd say Portal 2. That was fantastic.

Mass Effect 2 - A great ending, I thought. Especially the scene with the Normandy escaping the Collector base while it's blowing up with the awesome music playing in the background. Twas epic.

Dragon Age: Origins - The US ending are pretty sad, but great.

Fable TLC - I just loved it. I don't know why. Probably cause it shows that potrait of you being a boss with your cloak dancing in the wind as you glance over Albion.

MGS3 - Best Metal Gear game, imo. A great ending as well.

The Darkness. Just something about it that makes you feel good.

Agreed. Short, sweet and yet particularly sad... But that's exactly what you'd expect from the aesthetic and plot of game. End credits music and the title visual right after the last scene are awesome.

Hmmm, let's see. It's a toss up between Halo: CE, which left me feeling like king of the world and a huge swelling of awesome in my chest and HL2: Ep 2, which made me go: You utter bastards Valve. There have most likely been others over the years, but I cannot think of them right now.
