Jak from Jak and Daxter. He kills anyone he feels like, he had to go from a happy village to 2 years of torture to a post apocalyptic past-future, and defeated his planets evil and defeated the dark makers of the universe, and still has time to race cars with his life on the line and everyone trying to kill him. He was able to save the entire planet on 3 seperate occasions and had to be outcasted from the city he protected after it and still saved them all again. If you can convince me that he is not the biggest badass (without bringing up the next game) then you must be Jesus because doing such would be a miracle.

in terms of Evil badasses no one really beats Pyramid Head.
He needs no technology or skill to aid him - he's just an unstoppable lumbering force who'll de-glove your entire body in one swift action.

It is really one of the few games where you really have the feeling to be a powerplayer in the story and not just do fetch quests for some better dudes than you. NOBODY fucks with Kain and lives.
Hell... the whole point of the series is that Kain just craps on destiny and laws of time and does whatever he wants, even if the whole world has to burn for this. (Also he has a awesome voiceactor)
