Why do humans like to blame each other?
When an accident occurs, and someone is hurt or killed, they or their friends and family want someone to be held responsible and punished, even though it dosen't change anything.
I'm not talking murder here, I understand punishing crimes. But I mean...sueing is a big thing in modern culture (UK and US specifically), but it came about BECAUSE people wanted someone to blame in situations where there was seemingly noone at fault (other than, usually, the sue-er)
Why do we, as a species, feel the need to blame people for things in situations that don't really need blaming, or where blaming solves nothing?
