So I'm planning on getting Blur, mostly for the online multiplayer. Now, I own an Xbox 360 and a gaming PC, and I've never played a racing game on a PC before. It seems like an analog stick and a shoulder button would be more suited to playing racing games, but I don't know. So, for people who have played racing games on both consoles and the PC, which platform would be better suited to play Blur on?

I use a wired Xbox 360 controller on my PC. Most games already have button maps for it so it's not that rare. Given that change, if your PC can put out higher quality graphics than the Xbox 360, then I'd say go to PC.

Last I checked the Xbox 360 can't put out 60+ Frames Per Second at 2048x1152 with 8xF/MSAA. So yeah, +1 for PC here if you can do it. Just get a controller/wheel.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think you can use your Xbox 360 controller on a PC. I imagine that the game (like most others) will be developed for consoles and ported to PC, so probably you can use your controller there too, so control scheme shouldn't matter, unless you prefer the keyboard.

I find that the PC is better for solitary play, since you can't generally play with friends who are in the room, but you're also not hogging the family television. If you have the Xbox hooked up to your own TV, I'd probably get it for the Xbox, since it makes it easier to play with friends.

I thought about that, actually. I've seen PC game manuals that show controls for 360 controllers before, but I'd never considered doing that since I like the mouse and keyboard. Seems like that's the best of both worlds; great graphics and no subscription fees with good controls. Thank you, Internet!

It has to be a wired controller though. You need to buy a third-party dongle to use wireless ones.
