officially teach martial arts; particulary Tae Kwon Do. I'm required to be an official owner of a black belt. I guess it works differently since you live in Norway.
I wasn't talking about Norwegian rules in my last post.
From what I can gather, in the US at least, you don't need any kind of qualifications. All you need to do is start up your own dojo and wing it from there, teaching Tony-fu or whatever.
Of course, if you want your dojo to be recognized by organizations, or if you want to teach a specific, protected, branch of the art, you'll probably need to gain some sort of certificate of authenticity.
Legally though, there is nothing stopping you from setting up your own bullshit school, from what I see on the internet.
