Kudos to the Leon the Professional reference.

So, that was awesome and all, but while everyone else was taking in the Mario references (of course I enjoyed them, too) I picked up a reference to one of my favorite movies; Léon: The Professional.

Gary Oldman really seems to enjoy that role.
Just what is it with Gary Oldman and playing reaaally creepy villains?

Does anyone else have the urge to shave their head and get a bullet bill tattoo on their head? I can honestly say I wouldn't mind being bald if bullet bill was tattooed on my head.

There will be brawl > The brothers Mario

The visual effects are better in TBM obviously due to the nature of Machinima and the GTA engine and honestly the grittier nature was better especially the take on bullet bill and Toad, But I think TWBB had more depth and infinitely better humor. It just misses on the humor element that it does try to call back on.

Honestly I think I might just be resentful cause seeing the notion of humans playing Mario villians shook loose repressed memories of the actual super mario brothers movie (especially the suit wearing King Koopa)

BAAAAH.. I damn thee all to hell for making me remember that!

Luckily this falls into parody, Nintendo is notorious for protecting their brands and keeping them "family friendly".
