Have you ever considered a specific career to be "evil" or untrustworthy? Say a used cars salesman, lawyer, real estate agent or maybe the mailman that is humping your wife?
Why is it that there seem to be some jobs that are just considered "evil"?
I am currently looking for an apartment (woop!) and as a result of that I get to deal with real estate agents a lot (not woop!).
These guys tend to always give me "advice" on what is "smart" to do, and I can't take jack shit of what they are saying seriously.
Mainly it is because I, in the back of my mind, feel that he is trying to rip me off and take more of my money than he should.
But now lets say I meet a genuinely honest real estate agent... I would still not believe him, due to the nature of his job.
You can change the word apartment for car, and real estate agent for car salesmen, nad you pretty much have the same thing.
So my main point for discussion is this:
Are there some jobs out there that are beyond redemption, in terms of how they are viewed?
Or can a trend be changed?
