Yes, there are plenty of people in this industry that are less then friendly. I would put promoters near the top of the list, then reps who ask you to do things in insanely small time frames, for crap money.BonsaiK said:I work in the music industry and I'd just like to say that I'm watching this thread with interest.
"What's that, didn't change your address with us? Well here's a large fine. What's that, didn't pay the fine? Well we'll have to suspend your license. What's that, you didn't know you'd been fined because you didn't receive it? Well you should've informed us of your new address."Gurk said:The people that work at Centrelink...
Fellow Australians should understand.
I'll admit, I'm just a mere bank teller. Considering it's us tellers who handle most personal (and small business) transactions, you have to trust us more than most 'higher' or 'executive' bankers.wc alligator said:Politicians, pimps, prostitutes, teachers.

Well bankers have managed to fuck up our economy so yeah I'll go with that. (The Fat Cats anyways)lewism247 said:I've always had a thing against lawyers and bankers.
Yes and no. Depends on what part of the bank you enter. Retail banking (that's your branches and active business banking) the bank often provides most of the training, and there are plenty of people who started high on the retail ladder immediately. I'm currently studying political economics at university and will probably leave the bank when I finish my degree. If you go into areas like financial planning and investment banking, higher education or high experience in the field is almost universally required.wc alligator said:Doesn't that still require a degree in finances? I've been told a career in banking usually requires you to start as a teller and crawl up the ladder.deadman91 said:I'll admit, I'm just a mere bank teller.
