The Christmas Avatar Thread 2013

Yup, it's 1st December again, the day many of us traditionally don our Christmas avatars. A great selection of santa hats or other decorations can be found on Google, this in particular is a nice easy one to use:

If you have a Twitter or Facebook account, this site is also a fairly easy way of 'hatting' an avatar without having to use Paint/Gimp/Photoshop.

If the spirit of festivities, I will be providing a 'Christmasing' avatars service for anyone who requests it, the only rule is no gifs please (they are beyond my skill to do quickly, any volunteers who can do this for people would be greatly appreciated however.)

OP: Honestly I'm not bothered, I just got Pub Club and I got Caramel Frappe to make this one of my favorite anime protagonist/Main RP character from the Avatar Adventures.

And heck I'm sure people remember me for this guy, so I'm not going to ruin it by giving him a Christmas hat ... if it's angel wings I might think about that.

My gif barely moves, but if you look closely you can see lightning on his hands. (Caramel Frappe made it)

But back on topic, for Gifs you can have one or not, it's personal taste really ... for anime it makes sense though.
I could imagine you having a Big Daddy one though JoJo. As I said, it is really up to your, some people prefer still pictures compared to gifs ... but they do seem like a trend lately.

When something brings up the Big Daddies, they always remind me of that one trailer where the drill goes through his hand. :S
I miss the original Bioshock.

Nope, still nothing.

A few tips that may help (or maybe they won't and you'll forever be stuck )

1. Size the image. Escapist avatars for non-PubClub is 85x85. If your image is too big, Ze Escapist servers will compensate by squishing it and sometimes that confuses the hamsters that run the site, destroying their fragile little minds and screwing it all up.

(Note: If this tip is confusing, feel free to kick me the image in photobucket or something and I'll adjust it for you if you're not graphic artsy)

2. Put the image on your computer (ideally on your desktop so there's no permission issues) and upload it from there. The hamsters do not like outsiders and images trying to come in from a different website scares them.

To be honest, I'm unlikely to return to a Big Daddy avatar any time soon, after over three years I got tired of that theme and needed something new. If I do make a gif, it'll most likely be a continuation of the evil little kid theme >
