That's a rather glass-half-empty way of looking at things. I prefer to think of it as a tiny modern art landscape. I like tiny paintings. No idea why. Much like little bottled ships, bonsai plants and snow globes. Micro machines. Lego.

If you want, you can be lazy smart and efficient like me and simply save your current avatar as .gif and done!

Well shit, that's not a very good way for me to start out the holidays!(I love your avatars by the way)

On topic, maybe I will redraw my current one with my new fancy arting skills, and this time, actually have good line work and coloring inside the lines. It's not noticeable thankfully at 85 x 85, but the coloring and line work on it is pretty bad at full size. Since it represents me, and it's been about a year, I guess there's no reason not to redraw and and see how far I've come in the last year! Oh, and I guess I'll use the magic of layering to add a Christmas theme, then go be able to go back after Christmas!

OT: Thank you JoJo for making this thread. Was honestly waiting to make one for the Christmas Mayhem, but this can suffice all as well. If anyone seeks assistance in their Avatar being altered to a Christmas themed one, do notify me. I can do Still Pictures, GIFs, and even make entirely new GIFs from a selected video or source.

True, but then I'll get the loss of the quality due to the limits of a .gif and none of the advantages of a moving image so... I think I'll be even lazier and just keep my current .png avatar :-D
