Whatever, just wash your hands.
there used to be allot of turn based strategy games but now there are only a few and really only the civ series has been getting the AAA treatment.

So the question here is, if you could have any turn based strategy game get the AAA treatment, which one would it be? Im gonna have to go with MOO2, it was effin awesome and it holds up very nicely as is but to see it with all the graphical bells and whistles of civ 5, well that would be practically orgasmic

Master of Magic. Stardock tried with Elemental, but...

Okay, MoM pretty much had it all. Magical crafting, character creation that radically affected strategy, spell research, Civilization-style city building, summoning monsters, training troops, hiring heroes (who could themselves cast spells and wield equipment), a good half-dozen races with different units across two planes of existence, tactical battles. It'd be great to see a game again where the environment is at least as much a challenge to you as the other players; some of those dungeons contained monsters that could shatter whole armies.

There are several games, such as Heroes of Might and Magic, that are spiritual successors and use some of the elements, but it would be nice to see a game actually do all this again.

Competitive Pokemon is a turn-based strategy game. I want some Pokemon Stadium games that reflect modern technology. Imagine what it would be like if the levels of your Pokemon affected their size - so a level 100 Onix would be 20 times larger than a level 5 Onix, instead of the ridiculous sizes. In the latest Pokemon games for consoles, level 100 Caterpie still beats up level 2 Onix despite Onix being way larger.

Chess is about to get a very nice treatment with Battlechess coming out soon. Of course, it's coming out on the same date as Fallout: New Vegas, which will dominate my playing schedule for a long time.
