Skeletons are in there! And a few liches but they can be mopped up with a trusty enchanted sword or two. How do you keep your inner demons behind closed doors and when confronted about them do you tank it or do you open up? It's the never ending debate plus you have to choose how to open up and to who.

I don't think this thread has been done in a while but correct me if it has.

I tend to tell everything to everyone so I don't have a lot of demons. My main demon is I tell everything to everyone.

Same thing, I tell everyone pretty much everything so I don't have guilt that needs to be hidden. Don't believe me, ask me anything.

What's the one thing you can put into a barrel that will actually make it lighter?

Ammonium, methane, helium, and hydrogen all work. Theoretically, if you put a rocket mechanism in to the barrel that launched it in to orbit, it would become lighter as it escaped earth's gravity. Oh, putting fire in a sealed barrel should cause it to become lighter by increasing the entropy as it burns the oxygen (assuming it has oxygen in it). Oh, that rocket launching mechanism could also launch it on to a higher-than-sea-level place like a mountain, which should reduce it's weight (not mass) by a statistically insignificant amount.

I usually don't. I can keep a secret if someone asks me to, but as far as my own personal stuff... I don't care. The more other people know, the better.

When confronted with them, I simply tell a bigger lie to cover it up, thereby giving me another skeleton to hide in my closet, until the lie eventually gets so big that it all explodes in my face!

It's not the most effective method, but at least there's a big explosion at the end; explosions are cool.

I don't hide things from people I consider close. They know my deep dark secrets.

But as for just random people I hang out with...I don't share intimate details. Why would I?

To me sharing the painful past is part of the healing. If I can't acknowledge it then I can't start to move past it.

I really do just hide it until someone finds out though.

I never tell anything about what is really bothering me. I have opened up a bit to my close friends, never to my family. The only time I have ever truly opened up about my inner demons was to my best friend and to my (now ex) fiance. Other than that, every negative emotion gets bottled up and occasionally shoved through a wall.
Yes some day I will have to buy someone a new wall. Yes I will probably break my hand. But there are some things you just can't say. Not even to your parents.

It's a constant struggle. I can't tell you how hard it is to get human blood and entrails out of my clothing, not to mention it's hell on your plumbing when you wash it off.

I keep them locked up until things get really heavy, then let them out to dance and shake their bony behinds in people's faces. Take that, society.

I keep them locked up as much as I can off-line, but allow some skeletons to be unleashed on-line. Allows me to integrate myself into society easier than if I let loose all the little skeletons I have, while minimising the stress from holding back so much information since I'll probably never meet the people I tell the things to.

Hm I'd have to say I tank it, that or quit the server or so to speak. My friends are good with understanding when I don't want to talk about something.

OP: I have many skeletons, and i hide them by not revealing them. Or lying. I just don't like people knowing some of my business.
