If the developers couldn't at least hide the cheating, there's no reason for me to buy the game. They didn't want to put any effort in to making it.geldonyetich said:Computers only cheat if the game designers weren't able to make the game adequately challenging without it. Don't begrudge the cheating - it's supposed to be a challenge to overcome.
Pokemon Red... PP was not used in that version. Well, enemy pokemon didn't use it, so a 5PP move could be used as often as the enemy wanted. There weren't any items that increased the max amount of "charges" a move had, there was only a restore item(elixir IIRC). Also in RBY is the complete ownage of Alakazam, it has very high special(used for both attack and defence), high speed and fairly high defence while the type that did double damage(poison IIRC) had some of the weakest attacks in the game.TheNumber1Zero said:Is that with or without PP-UP's and PP-MAX's? I beat it just fine, use things it has no advantage to and teach that Pokemon moves that hurt psychic types.
I've beaten Lou on Hard. It's all about pattern recognition and when to use the powerups.imahobbit4062 said:So you can TK the AI for more ammo? Thats all I ever use them for.thevillageidiot13 said:also, in Call of Duty 5 [World at War], the AI aims at you, and only at you. seriously. if you stick your head out of cover half an inch, every enemy AI automatically notices you and starts emptying out the magaazine clip into your face with deadly accuracy. what's the point in having friendly AI's in a game if the enemy is only going to shoot in your direction, no matter what, and totally forget about any other threat on the entire map?
i mean, if we're playing Halo, and you're a spacemarine that wears a tank as body armor and mows down hordes of enemies for breakfast, fine, it makes more sense that the AI would shoot in your direction. but if you're just a common grunt, and there are a dozen more-exposed targets the AI can shoot at, why oh why does it aim for you every single time?I still havnt beaten that bastard on Hard yet, I finally beat Raining Blood on Hard and feel like a God...then that bastard Rips me a new one.Smack-Ferret said:Remember the battle with Lou in Guitar Hero 3? It's one percent playing good, and ninety-nine percent hoping you get the better power-ups.
