The 'Controller snapping, wiimote throwing moment' in a game is when the game does something that is designed to make you throw you wiimote into your TV or snap you controller in anger.

My most recent would have to be from Fable 2.

After loving and caring for my dog, which in my opinion is Fable 2's heart and soul. He gets shot by Lucien and dies. While I'm left helpless with a gun, sword and level 5 inferno all at my disposal; and I can't use any of them.

So what is your 'Controller snapping, wiimote throwing moment' and why?

We have several of these threads.

But because i am a caring suit of armor, i will add that Assassins creed, where the game interprets your push as an order to leap into empty space. The engine usually never fails me, but when it does it fails hard by default. I often do not survive.

Both of you are right, there are a few of these sorts of threads, but I have looked around and have found that now get at my particluar point.

The "Great Fuck Off moment in games" thread is more at glitches in games rather killing off a loved character, or changing something with no reason behind it.

Mine would have to be getting killed in any Dragon Quest game before realizing that you have to grind at least 3 levels before entering the next area. Got killed by the first boss after I got all pumped up. SIX TIMES before I realized I needed to grind.
