Unfortunately model-wise they've pretty much been replaced by the Kasrkin, and it's just not the same.

I have a couple of those guys lying around. They also make great Steel Legion Stormtroopers.

The Dragonbone armor from Skyrim, because nothing says awesome warrior like wearing the bones of the dragons you have slain.

I agree with both of these. Unfortunately, both of those games have far better armor that looks much lamer (though in Skyrim I'm willing to put looks above function).

Yeah, in Skyrim, stats aren't really that important, as long as I'm not crippled for using it.

Yeah, my first character religiously wore the Wolf Armour from the Companions.

He was a werewolf, if you were wondering.

My favourite armour of all time has to be the Grey Knights Terminators, although I think the only time we ever saw them in game was in Dawn of War, and they weren't even terminators...

There was (probably still is) a Daemonhunters mod that added in a whole load of Grey Knight stuff, including Terminators.

I think this is my all-round favorite.

It's stylish and aestetic, but it's also practical, and fairly light. Plus, slap on a geiger counter and a scarf and you're ready for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. or Fallout.

That armour is fairly nice, too. It's not exactly realistic or anything, but it still works, to me. It's rare to find something not terribly overdesigned or glowing in World of Warcraft, but sometimes they succeed.

Suppose they made up for it by feeding that poor kodo whatever it is that does that to your eyes.

It's been mentioned before [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/9.384856-The-Cool-Armour-Thread#15285569], but I'll say it again: Fire Emblem's Black Knight.

Dude's built like a castle and about as well-defended as one. Ordinarily that would lead to mobility issues, but he teleports to and from battle and his blessed greatsword is capable of sword-beams at a distance. And against all logic or reason, he's uncannily adept at high-key swordplay and dodging things (not that he needs to or anything), perhaps the only armored character in Fire Emblem with these traits.

Also: Darth Revan's robe/armor set. Not very high-profile, but intimidating and mysterious nonetheless. The somewhat ascetic look of the robes compliments the Mandalorian-style armor and face-mask. Great for people developing an arcane mastery of the forces of the universe who can't be bothered with trivial things. Like being shot at.

And then there's the... anything from the Mass Effect design team. Specifically the new N7 "Slayer" Vanguard class from Multiplayer. Just look at those threads they sport. It's like some sort of neo-jedi light armor style mixed with Halo's ODST gear.

And of course: The UNSC Spartans. It started with the Master Chief and the stock Mjolnir style, but Halo 3 and Halo: Reach have shown us that they ALL[footnote]Totality of this statement may vary from person to person.[/footnote] look good in their own way.

I actually hate most of the armors in Skyrim. Ugly as fuck. Especially dragonbone/scale and the female version of Steel Plate. Yuck.

I'm a perv though, and many of my favorite outfits... I can't post here. Here's one that's safe though.

I love it.

And here's a safe one of one of my Skyrim characters, hiding her hair under a helmet and trying to pretend to be a boy. Pretty cute actually.

Personally I find most armor in games to be silly. Too many spikes, too big of shoulder pads. Bright red or solid black with skulls and such. I'd laugh if I saw a guy wearing basically any of the armor in this thread.
