A Couch warmer is a game that is so fun to play on the couch that you have multiple people playing on the couch thus the couch gets really warm.

Me: Night Fire , This game had endless numbers of days with friends playing and making up their own rules and all shouting "Golden Gun !" "Tri Bomb" "Satchel Charge !" ahhhh yes memories of the sweet true multiplayer where every death was to be laughed at and every weapon was sacred and every avater was a james bond movie character.
Mortal Kombat, Everyone would have their faviroute character. If you were young crew of 3 boys then you'd only choose the men characters cause picking girl characters was not Manly ! also the sheer laughter of how ridiculous the fatalites became as well as the high fives going around across the couch to the person who did the fatality.
Bionic Commando Rearmed: This is not exactly a new game but definatly one of my current couch warmes, a party of up to 6 people shouting and cheering to one screen.
Ahhh yes the true days of multiplayer on the couch.
