With a name like that, you know its got to be cool.

Not really though its a tech support thread. But the name does fit.

I made a thread recently about getting a new computer and if Mac gaming had been fixed.

I know now nobody likes macs because they are new and different. Which is wrong, but Apple just doesn't care about improving itself, which shows to me its a lost cause.

So I talked to my parents about getting a new computer and they said absolutely not. But they did say I could upgrade the computer we have in the basement to be able to play next gen games.

Here is where the Dinosaur part comes in. This thing is OLD. Like... I'v never seen such an old tower. It looks like its steampunk.

Now I don't know if this would work, but I am no tech expert at all. Does anyone know if this will work? Taking an old tower, and putting in a better graphics card and such? I want to be able to use a headset, so can I buy a new monitor and attach it to the old tower and have it be compatible?

So we are upgrading an old dinosaur of a computer with future technology. I can get the name of the computer later. I guess if you want to see the brand of computer to help me...

So will this work?

UPDATE: I assume the monitor and tower were from the same line but i'm not sure.

The Monitor says Komodo, and the tower says Acer.

I have never heard of either of these brands. Thoughts?

Now I'm justifying what I did AND making people feel sad. Successful troll is successful. Not that I am trolling.

And its not like the title was completely unrelated, the name kind of fits.
