With this vast entity called the internet, what's the dankest meme you've ever come across?

And I'm not talking about some shitty Facebook image macro. I mean a bona fide 420% pure meme

Honestly? Probably "dank meme" itself. Most memes are based on some preexisting pop culture reference or catchphrase, but "dank meme" is entirely based on other memes.

I'd be lying if I said I didn't find some satisfaction in it though, as it indicates people are finally becoming aware how over-exposure is death for a meme...or any joke for that matter.

I don't know about an individual meme, but the dankest piece of media ever created is the Fensler Films GI Joe montage. It has a higher density of 'memes created' than anything else ever.

Hmm. I'll go with Jim Fucking Sterling, son's "is this memes?" Because it's a meme born from a meme, (memeception!) and that's brilliant. It can also be applied to anything that's trash, so that's good.

I also have a fondness for "praise the sun! \[T]/" But, I'm honestly not sure why, I don't even play Dark Souls.

The question is, however: Is this thread memes? I think it is.

I'm kinda thinking, if such a meme existed, it'd be laden with sooo much fedora-tipping goodness that no one would be able to handle it.

A bit like a weaponized joke, - a joke so funny that anyone who hears it dies of laughter.
