You have reached level 61 on the Goldberg scale.

0 - 9 Depression unlikely 21 - 35 Minor to moderate depression
10 - 17 Possibly minor depression 36 - 53 Moderate to severe depression
18 - 21 On the verge of depression 54+ Severe depression

....WEll now.....im not really surprised to be honest. was confused at first...and then realised...my number isnt up there...its ...well shit.. -_-

I think this result will probably cause more depression for people then they are actually in. I'd take that result with a pinch of salt. There are a lot of variables that this test does not seem to take inot account. Hell, I got 45 and I'm perfectly happy with how I am at the moment. It's been a lot worse.

14. What the hell is "Possibly minor depression?"

The problem with quizzes like this is they're too general. That doesn't just pertain to things excluded by the questions, but things that are inclusive, but vague.

Take for example: "I have lost interest in things that used to mean a lot to me."

I used to really be into planes as a kid, but lost interest as I grew up. Same's true for a lot of stuff.

Someone probably already stated this, but reiteration drives the point home.

I got a 14, possibly minor depression. Makes sense I guess. I have had suicidal thoughts. Eh, nothing serious though.

7 so I guess I'm fine

the only answer I really had high was "are you always tired" or something like that.

17, minor depression, mostly on the ground that i have gainded weight, largely because i am a teenager, and have contemplated how to commit suicide largely because that question has been featured on other questionares

This test varies for me on an almost daily basis. Today, I'm at an 8, other days, it gets pretty high. Sometimes 30/40s.

56! Yeah i rock.
wait, were we aiming for low scores?
Edit; i suffer from really quite bad seasonal depression that i haven't long come out of... maybe that's an influence there. but in with the whole "how do you deal with it thing" i just get on with it and apologise when its over... seems to work almost well :p
Edit 2; retake! 63. hmmm, i was trying to be more positive.
is it wrong that this test makes me smile?

42. I am quite happy actually. Isn't thinking about how you could kill yourself normal? I would never do it but of course I think about it. This test is stupid.

I scored 11, yet it says I should seek out help, I don't think I'll seek help at this stage, unless things take a turn for the worse.

21-35, Minor to moderate depression. Although it's kind of hard to answer these questions, because my outlook varies a lot depending on what's currently happening with my life.

During school I would have answered a lot of the questions farther to the right, but now I'm on vacation and don't have as much bothering me. So I sort of tried to balance between the two, but it's impossible to really get it 'right'. I guess I'm a pretty moody person, I have ups and downs. I bet you most psychiatrists would tell me I have bipolar or some bullshit like that, but I think I'm just pretty receptive to what's happening around me.
