Wychwood discontinued three amazing beers: Black Wych, Beewyched and Fiddler's Elbow (alright, so that was middling), and cut them back to about 4 main beers and a smattering of terrible 'seasonal' beers.

Seriously, you discontinued Black Wych (the most incredible stout I've ever tasted) and kept Goliath?

Goliath? Seriously?

The original sour bubble tape. Oh god, it was like an endless stream of sour candy THAT WAS ALSO GUM. Also it was VERY sour. My mouth waters just thinking about its glorious flavor. Also reminds me that either my taste buds are dead or that they don't make sour candy like they used to.

Yamaha XG MIDI. Its still around as a standard, but you going to have a hell of a time finding a new XG sound module with all the sounds and reverb/chorus settings. Not to mention the best Software Synth the S-YXG50 which was discontinued in 2001 doesn't work on modern systems unless as VSTi.

Just minor things really, but that S-YXG50 was something special, I wish they still made it and updated it. It was featured in the PC version of FF7 for the music. Gave it a more orchestral feel, were as the Playstation Soundtrack had a more gritty tone.

Here is a example of a demo song that came with the S-YXG50 if you wanna know why its so cool:

Red Carpets, a superb candy sold in Sweden up until the mid 90's...It was quite simply the best candy we ever had.

Nordic Games: A video game store that one young lad started in a small shop, grew until it got gobbled up by Game and nowadays sells shit. Quite a far fall from a cramped store that sold awesome, imported SNES games.

A more serious one might be a bit incongruous in this thread but...

I once met a girl from Iceland when I was in Denmark for a week. I developed a crush on her. She was the first, and to this day, the only girl who somehow returned my feelings. I could be with her for only two more days after admitting I felt something for her. We met again a year later, but by then both of us had already moved on.

Steak & Onion chips. Went away before I turned twelve. I'm twenty-four now and nothing like them has ever been made again.
Oh god... I completely forgot about those. They were my lunch-box fixture every single damn day when I was young. I'm sad now...

OT: Regular sized bottles of Black-currant Lucozade. I haven't seen them at all since last year, now all I can get is the tiny-ass 1 quid bottles which give you barely anything.

They stopped serving the Awesome Blossom onion doodad at all the Chiles in my state a few years back. That was literally the only reason to ever go to Chiles. Now I have to go to Outback Steakhouse, which is 10 minutes further away from my house.

For those who don't know what I'm talking about:

Oh man, I used to eat industrial quantities of Sporties as a kid. Anyone else remember it?

But more on topic, Mountain Dew Pitch Black.

Grape flavored Mountain Dew.

oh sure, it came back once or twice for the Batman movies, but where I live its a damn miracle if you can find even one bottle.
That stuff was great. I still have a personal reserve of it: a couple cases. At one point I drank that stuff so much that was practically my lifeblood. Unfortunately had to kick the addiction to it a couple years ago, since it was wrecking up my shit. Great while it lasted though.

They discontinued Star Wars the Clone Wars :( I don't watch a lot of tv, but that was one of the shows I watched.
The gave that show the axe? That was a pretty good show! It had some good action, an interesting art style, and the writing occasionally got really good. What a shame.

Chef-Boyardee Chicken Ravioli. Had an awesome cream sauce instead of tomato. I should check on Amazon to see if it actually still exists, and just isn't in this area....
KFC Chicken Littles....small, cheap, a very excusable little vice...

Blue soda. Yeah whatever brand/flavour you care to name, every now and then a company goes "lets try blue again" and voila blue soda and I'm generally so-so on the taste but the colour! BLUE! And then it goes away again. *sigh* untill next time!

Here in Sweden, there won't be any more Häagen-Dazs Cookies & Cream flavor. I bought what will probably be my very last packet today.

Years ago Pepsi made a soft drink called Slice (the forerunner of Sierra Mist). When I was a kid they briefly had an apple-flavored version, which they discontinued because apparently nobody liked it but me. :(
Try looking for this Manzanita [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manzanita_Sol] it might be similar. If you live in the US look in the hispanic section of the grocery stores, they might have it there.

As for me, I really miss Sun-Luck brand Oriental Blend tea. All of the Chinese restaurants in my area served it and you could get it at the store then some dickhead conglomerate bought out Sun-Luck and cut a bunch of their product line so now about they only things they make are hot mustard and soy sauce.

That would be because they haven't devised a way to keep the blue dyes they use in them from turning pepole's poo green if they drink too much of it.

I don't remember what they were called, but KFC used to do these packets of flavouring you could shake into a thing of popcorn chicken. The salt and vinegar one was simply divine to my child palate. It's probably the chemicals they made it out of, but I still crave for it from time to time

European Oreos aren't made anymore. We've still got Oreos, and they're still different from American ones, but the cookie part isn't as dark anymore. There's less cocoa in them. Even if you don't read the list of ingredients you don't even have to taste them to notice. You can tell just from looking at a cookie; it's a lighter shade of brown than it used to be. And that's a shame, because the old kind had the ultimate proportions of bitter chocolate cookie and white cream. They were perfect. If Jesus was cookies, then these were the cookies that cookie Jesus would be.

Right in the nostalgia. Those things were delicious.

Crystal Pepsi. Apparently it was awesome, but it was discontinued the same year I was born. I wanna try it, but if I got a hold of any remaining bottles, I'd probably vomit everywhere [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CGwibPdEOVk].

KFC recently stopped producing popcorn chicken, instead replacing it with something that is similar, but I think comes in smaller quantities. Laaaaame!

Do you guys remember shake 'em up fries? Holy tits those were good. They brought them back in like 2006 or something, but with different flavors that weren't even good.
