Ah yes,the universally annoying attachment,the grenade launcher/noobtube.

Now,i use it every now and again, and thats ok.using it to shoot around corners,or at difficult targets.but,I'm sure we have all had bad experiences.

I was in a game of Domination on Highrise.I was spawnkilled multiple times by a person.OMA Pro,Danger close pro.Fal Grenade laucher.i swear,i was only killed by him once with the actual FAL,and that was because i was flanking him.

i don't understand this,the grenade launcher is an ATTACHMENT,not a Primary.

If you are going to insult me or ask"Why are you asking this?"Don't bother commenting.

What do you think,the Escapist?

I think I gave up MW2 a long time ago, and thus noobtubes haven't really had a major presence in any games I play nowadays. They exist in Bad Company 2, but I rarely get killed by them.

I find the 50mm grenade to be excellent for utility purposes. You're not hiding from my bullets after i demolish your cover wall. They can be rather overpowered, though, depending on the games respective splash damage.

For the most part, I don't mind them because they're a part of the game.

Mhmmm.... utilizing weaponry is bad, m'kay?
Pfft, get over it man, it's not game breaking.
Besides, what stops you from using it?

I only use it sometimes in 'Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 2'. People in 'MAG' are pretty polite about it; I've only been killed by a grenade a few times in that game.

Can't be as bad as the artillery in BFBC 1, or as me and my friends called it, the pussy cannon.

The tubes were actually toned down quite a bit in MW2. In the first if a tube grenade explosion even grazed your cheek you splattered against the wall. Nowadays, you're much more likely to survive the impact.

The true problem the OP is having is with spawn camping.

Its a weapon meant to kill people from a distance with a well placed shot. What is there more to know?

Who cares if it killed you and who cares if you dislike it. It works for the most part and I've seen my brother go streaks as high as 15 with that alone. It is an extremely effective weapon. Also, I'd like to point out the fact that the majority of people who call these noobtubers are the guys who just got killed by them.

People always get pissed at me and my friends because we accidentally kill eachother with explosives a lot (we don't play MW2 most of the time, only when we're bored). So eventually any game we're in devolves into us knifing eachother. It angers the other players, but by this point we don't care, we only play to screw around.

Good.

Do whatever it takes to win.
If it is in the game, it ain't cheap or unfair. Deal with it, you bought the game didn't you?

*sigh*

I'm going to use this fellow's quote from a different thread again.

Um.

You do realize that I have no problem with "noobtubing"?

I didn't say it was cheap, I didn't say it was unfair. I told him to do whatever he could to win.

Um.

Yes, I did. I was directing that at the OP. Sorry if that was unclear.

Sorry... I forgot that using something built into the game by the developers was not allowed. I don't even use it (ACR FMJ on odd occasion I even chuck MW2 into my machine) but seriously, this conversation has been had way to many times, we get it you don't like the grenade launcher. Cool.

Can we agree that MW2 Online is essentially made for griefing?

In my opinion, it is, which pleases me greatly.
It's one big hilarious griefing engine!

OT: This thread has been make literally 20 times.

Hah, but I have to say, Noobtubers are annoying as hell. It does show a lack of skill when you sit in a corner and shoot things with your boomstick. Most games manage to balance it out after a while, though.

This.
"omg noob tactic" It still killed you, stop complaining.

I usually despise competitive multiplayer, so I'll do whatever I have to when it comes to leveling the playing field.
