The dysfunctional family thread

Just out of curiosity, what is the most dysfunctional family fiction or real that you know of or are a part of? And provide a reason why you think this is so.

Within my aunt's family (as in smaller group, like her, her boyfriend +kids/grandkids), each of them has a different surname. I know that divorce and children outside of marriage are perfectly normal, this still seems odd to me.

Anyone disagree?

Most of my father's side is racist.

Only breaking up with my first girlfriend was harder than taking my new girlfriend (very Japanese, down to the accent) to meet them.

God that was akward.

My grandma used to chuck spastic fits if i didn't vaccum the living room the exact SECOND she told me to. Only that. Nothing else. She would throw shit like glass around the room... ._.

My dad and I are almost constant on the edge of breaking into a mássive fight. Dysfunctional enough for me, but then again I (probably) have mental problems (not joking here) they don't know anything about.

Ummmm my dog pooped on the carpet once and I forgot to pick it up and my mom and dad got angry. My mom started yelling at me in Japanese and my dad in Spanish...actually it was kinda funny. Thats the only thing I can think of though.

My Younger Sister is A Self-Important Bigot who believes she's always right. Among her less pleasant aspects are freely using the N-word to describe anyone beyond moderately tanned, responding to mention of famous people she's not fond of with "Aren't they dead yet?", and thinking that MADD has ruined things for motorists.

Worst of all though, is her misguided belief that she is better than me because she is 'More Like Dad' than me. Firstly, this somehow implies there is something WRONG with being like Mom, and secondly, were Dad still alive, he would take anyone who behaves the way she does, put them over his knee, and spank their ass until they got dehydrated from crying.

She also just got a vanity license plate that reads our surname. Now we can have her road rage pasted across all our reputations.
