I'd like them to wait until computers have advanced a bit more memorywise, so they can do the whole continent justice. For the moment I think it's fine for them to do single countries. The Great JT said:Here's a few things I want in Elder Scrolls V: Whatever They Decide To Call It:
ALL of the Empire. Not just Tamriel or Morrowind, but the whole empire. Vvardenfell, Black Marsh, Tamriel, Morrowind, Skyrim, Hammerfell, Sommerset Isle, the whole thing. Maybe even Akavir, if the place is still around. Elder Scrolls V is going to be regarding the ENTIRE empire and its possible downfall, so let's see everything.
So "if you play with the bows long enough they stop sucking". There's no reason for you to use them at lower levels you'll never get it at a high level.11. The bow system needs no tweaking, because when you get your skill to 100 in it, you pretty much can just toy with enemies because you automatically paralyze them or knock them down with every other hit you land, so to whoever was saying the archery was weak, apparently you never maxed your skill out, so go back and do that. I'll wait...... Done? Good. Now don't you agree that the bow skill is just fine how it is? Lolz...
It's supposed to be a disease. Also, if you do things during night you will get pretty pretty big bonuses. It's a different play style.7.Vampirism was more of a hinderance than a privelege. Fix that or omit it completely. Leaving it in the game like it is is just lame.
Might be feasible by the time elder scrolls V comes out but we might need to wait till 6 or 7.1.
So agreed. It wasn't even a challenge. It was so simple.-2.1: The "Conversation Pie". This needs to be outlawed. It was just annoying and frankly asinine.
I like this idea. Definitely make it so one spell lasts the entire game, if it absolutely needs to cost money make it so you could buy upgrades from the guild.-3.3: Make spells scale damage/healing. This way you get one spell, it lasts the entire game, and you don't have to keep wasting gold to buy new spells. Yes, keep the diverse ones like in Conjuration for summoning different creatures, but make them scale with your skill. Like at Conjuration skill 20, your Summon Skeleton gets you a Skeleton, but at 40, you get a Skeleton Guardian. Or your Illusion skill will determine the amount of visibility reduction you get from a Chameleon spell.
true but it makes sense.14. The encumberance system. When you're over-encumbered, you can't even MOVE? That is crap! Who designed that, and why has he not been sacrificed to the volcano god?!
Why not just set it so you're crawling or walking incredibly slow?mike1921 said:true but it makes sense.14. The encumberance system. When you're over-encumbered, you can't even MOVE? That is crap! Who designed that, and why has he not been sacrificed to the volcano god?!
Don't you start to get slower before you absolutely can't move? Also, that isn't logical.Portal Maniac said:Why not just set it so you're crawling or walking incredibly slow?mike1921 said:true but it makes sense.14. The encumberance system. Yes Dwarves would be good, they always talk about dwarvs in the lore, and countles books, but how come we never see any?Kelethor said:Dual weilding, Mounted combat, Crossbows, MAYBE a new race...dwarves
There is a dwarf mod around somewhere for oblivion, I have never played it, just read about it... But i dont know, I always got the impression they where long gone and dead.... I could be wrong..Roamin11 said:Yes Dwarves would be good, they always talk about dwarvs in the lore, and countles books, but how come we never see any?Kelethor said:Dual weilding, Mounted combat, Crossbows, MAYBE a new race...dwarves
Silly *****, of course I played Morrowind. I still do. And it takes less then an hour to go from Vivec to Sanctus Shrine, depending on your speed, so stop exaggerating with that two weeks real time crap. Or maybe you're thinking of Daggerfall? Anyway...Mikaze said:Here we have somebody who probably didn't play Morrowind. Without fast travel, it takes about 2 weeks real time to walk from one place to another. Admittedly fast travel did make the world feel small but to me it was infinitely preferable to trudging through the mountainous areas of north Vvardenfell looking for a small village which I found before but have apparently misplaced during the course of my adventures.Exterminatus said:More immersion.
Less generic fantasy bullshit.
Less DICKING with pre-established lore.
MORE VOICE ACTORS... I'd even be content with text boxes for lesser NPCs.
Less concentration on GRAFIX!!!1 and more on story, depth, role-playing and re-playability.
INTERESTING CHARACTERS.
Less repetitive combat.
Get rid of the fast travelling, as it makes the world feel incredibly small.
Better physics engine.
More interesting spells.
MORE dialogue options and quest branching.
Bring back the old armour slots.
More weapons and armour. Make Daedric armour and such RARE, like it used to be.
Some other stuff I haven't thought of.
