Not particularly. Anonymous does what they think is right, LulzSec just pisses people off because they can.

this is actually untrue. Anonymous just does whatever. Sometimes they do stuff for what they think is right, sometimes they piss people off because it's funny. Anonymous is the hive, and the hive is somewhat unpredictable.

Wow, was that supposed to be like some kinda touching end of the movie speech? That was bullcrap, you know what I can relate this to? Remember that speech that pedophile gave on that NAMBLA episode on South Park? That's practically what the NAMBLA leader said, trying to make us feel sorry for him being a pedophile and it being natural. My favorite part was when Kyle went,"Dude, you have sex. Um, so how many times do we have to post that they aren't really gone before somebody actually reads it and stops posting smug self-satisfied statements? Dude, they're still out there hacking away. This isn't real. They said it was fake on their twitter, which is the their main form of communication.

Don't really understand all the hate that flows to them.

Genuine question, because I haven't bothered to keep up with this. What good work?

Basicly: they bitchslapped a few companies that did not take proper care with customer data. Making every company on the internet aware that security should be invested in from the start and not just slapped on afterwards.
They still did plenty of douchbag tricks to others though (but that is the entertainment part for me)
