So this is a little game I just made up. The basic rules are quite simple. Each poster will contribute a sentence to the thread. That sentence must contain one movie/game/book/song/entertainment-media name, and be relevant to the last sentence. Some extra rules:
For example:
Get Off of my Cloud. [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Get_Off_of_My_Cloud]
I would if I had a Stairway to Heaven [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stairway_to_heaven].
I'll start:
I have Great Expectations [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_expectations] for this thread.
1)If there's any chance the average reader on this site won't get your reference, please link to the wiki article, or something similarly informative but not spammy. For those not in the know, to link something, write like this, where - { represents [ so you can see what I'm doing, not a dud link. {url=www.website.com}Movie/Song/Book/etc Title Here{/url}
Half Life doesn't need linking. Herzog Zwei [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Herzog_Zwei] does. Though if you can fit that into a relevant sentence I salute you.
2)For easier reading, also capitalise the title as it would be capitalised (or not). Not such a big deal, but nice.
3)Keep a nice ratio of sentence length to title length. If your sentence is 50 words just to make it relevant to the last post and Braveheart then you should find another title or another sentence.
4)Spoilerise any comments that aren't your sentence. Spoilering is done thusly: {spoiler]Words{/spoiler}
5)If something else comes up that somehow ruins the fun I reserve the right to add more rules. But that probably won't happen. This game doesn't exactly need Will Wright to design and balance.
