Now that The Escapist has the login with facebook feature. I noticed on my profile, I can go to my Facebook. So I'm wondering, have any of you added your fellow escapees to facebook (If you have one)?

I haven't got the feature, or at least I'm not aware of it but even so I would agree with the above poster. Whilst the escapist is great, everyone here is simply a name and an avatar and an opinion, nothing more.

Facebook I only add people I know and/or actively talk to in the real world, hence why I only have 30 or so friends added. Seriously, how can people have 500 facebook friends? People I used to know in school keep adding me and all I think is "nope, thought you were an arse then, have no interest in knowing you now"

Just look at the names:
Facebook - Face, appearance, book, intelligence, human perceptions.
Escapist - get the funk out of whatever funk you in rude boi.

Plus, all these previous comments shows that I have true comrades here.

I made a Facebook once to take some quizzes my friend was pestering my about. Haven't touched it since, although I noticed in my e-mail that three people I vaguely remember from elementary school added me. Haven't touched the thing since, I hate the interface and the principle. And the malware.

Nope, mainly because I don't have a facebook account. I always think of making one, but I usally decide against it in the end.

Nope. I'm just very lazy.

In fact, I haven't even been to my profile page in like months.

I agree. I have a Facebook account that I interact with on a regular basis as I'm getting ever closer to finally weening myself off of MySpace, but I haven't integrated Escapist and Facebook.
I can't imagine what kinds of posts you get from the interaction between the two, as I don't know of any of my Facebook contacts that have registered here on Escapist. Weird how that is... or else people are hiding it.

I don't even use facebook because I don't like a lot of people at my school, but I don't want people to know that. If I get a facebook it'll be spread around considering how small my school is, and then everyone I hate will be sending me friend requests. Denying them will get me a lot of hate and trouble.
Putting pictures of myself for everyone to see doesn't interest me either.

So, no, I don't use the new feature.

I think I noticed something about facebook somewhere on this site. As others have said, I'd rather keep Facebook and The Escapist seperate.

I rarely actually log onto facbook, lest I get dragged into a "conversation" with someone. Anyway, as has also been said, Facebook is reserved for people I actually know in real life (as such, I "only" have 30-odd Facebook friends). But yes, none of this 500+ friend nonsense, thanks very much.

Let's not get started on twitter either....

I regret making a facebook account to play restaurant city. Now I can't delete my account or my friends will think I've deleted them off my friends list. I can't be bothered to contact all 32 of them either...

It's just a way to register/log in easily - we don't do any linking of friends or anything like that. We're pretty much running at the bare minimum of Facebook integration :p

It's a lot easier to register via Facebook though - since we've turned it on about half of our registrations have been using it.
