Kazuya merely rolled his eyes before he began to head towards Hargreave's car, kinda glad that the president was leaving.
[color=9F2B68]"Just drop me off back in Tokyo. You know, I really helps me sleep at night when I know such a man is just a few buttons away from nuclear war..."[/color] He sighed as the President began to head off, watching as the Merc shoved some doctor into the car.
[color=9F2B68]"...Before I agree to anything, Mind telling me why exactly you are kidnapping this doctor? Private Sector work is usually driven by revenge so I'd rather not be tied into it if at all possible..."[/color] He did said as he looked at the Doctor, trying to figure out if he knew him from somewhere.

"Terra-6? Hmmmm, I don't know what Realm that's in...Still, I might be able to use the data from your last teleport in order to track it down. It was in the LA area, right?" Violet said as he remotely accessed one of the consoles on the far side of the room with his tablet, bringing up a scan of the city after the attack.
"It might take a while, these kind of operations usually to, but you aren't in no rush, right?" He then added as he left that scan running, attempting to get the frequency of her last teleport.
While that was being processed, he then heard Selena's comment about wanting to find Icarus.
"Icarus?...I thought he was in LA? Didn't you just come from there?..." Violet then asked, clearly confused by why he had to track him down.
"Let me guess, flew off on you? Yeah, he tends to do that a little. Still, he can't have gotten far if he left after the battle. Hard part might be getting the system to read him. We don't really have anything like a credit card or something we can access. It's rather strange, as if he just showed up like Vanessa here did..." He then said before switching his remote access to the other side of the room in order to bring up G-corp's main Database and run a search.
"Now don't worry, I'll do everything in my power to take care of both of these requests. While we're waiting, shall I order a meal for either of you?"

"You know I can tell when you're bluffing."

"I doubt it. I'm wearing a mask. A very good mask, in fact."

"Even so. Your eye twitched. You're not holding anything."

Edge smiled. He had this one in the bag, no trouble. "Three aces."

The other guard, a burly man named Billy, dressed in more camouflage gear and speaking with what Edge identified as a Tennessee drawl, clicked his tounge. "I was wrong 'bout you, Edge. But not so wrong." Billy laid down his cards. "Straight flush."

"Oh HEATHEN FUCKING!" Edge shouted, slamming his fist on the small table. "NO FUCKING WAY! YOU'RE PACKING!"

"Nothin' t' get exited over, fella." Billy said, holding his hands up. "Just a game, after all."

"Is much to get exited over!" Another soldier, a husky Russian man named Biertov said. "Is decided now; Billy has permission to fuck Edge's sister if he meets her, and Edge cannot complain or stab Billy with bayonet or...those things he has."

"Throwing knives." Edge said, leaning back. "And the joke's on Billy; I don't have any sisters."

"Well goddamn." Billy said. "Ref, we've gotta rectify this situation."

"Da." Biertov said, thinking. "Edge, do you have any cousins or other close family?"

"None." Edge said.

"Truly?" a second, much more lithe Russian named Nicoli asked. "You have no family at all?"

"None that I know of, at least." Edge said. "A monsoon hit my home village about twelve years ago and wiped all of it out."

Nicoli shook his head. "Is very sad. I have strong feels for you; my family was purged by communists during breaking up of soviet-"

"No one cares about your tragic story, Nicoli." Biertov said. "We must resolve this issue. Is much more importiant. Do you have close friends, Edge?"

"Just Boss." Edge said. "And I don't think he'd be interested-"

"Is close enough!" Biertov said, nodding. "Billy now has permission to fuck Edge's close friend Boss if he meets this person, and Edge cannot be angry or stab Billy with bayonet or throwing knife." Biertov nodded vigorously. "Next game decides who gets eaten last when trapped in freezing arctic with no food. Edge, is your turn to shuffle cards."

Vanessa nodded slowly. [color=666666] "Yes... Provided that LA stands for Los Angeles...and I'd like to get back to work as soon as I can. I'm sure my co-workers are thinking I've perished in that explosion." [/color] She said, rubbing her chin a bit as she spoke. [color=666666] "I don't want to have them worrying over things... or worse, come back to find myself replaced..." [/color]

She was going to decline the offer for food as well before her stomach interjected with an audible growl. The woman's cheeks slowly colored pink before she nodded. [color=666666] "If... it wouldn't be too much trouble, a salad wouldn't be too bad..." [/color]

"Trust me, if Kenneth Black wanted revenge, he would have done it himself. He wants this guy for some project he's got in the works. I'm only kidnapping him because Black doesn't like the people he works for, Dexter Industries," Matt said as he sped to the airport. Once there he found that his private supersonic jet was already fueled and waiting.

Selena had sat down, she took out a Crystal ball
"It's not just me who wants him found, there's a bit of a danger to him, I just hoped you guys could do it faster." she said,
"Icarus is in a bit of danger he may be in hiding which means I need any help I can get looking for him. I really really need him found His life could be at risk." she gave the most tearful look hoping to get some sort of sympathy, she had guessed maybe Violet had more information.

Before he considered anything else, Kazuya instantly grabbed the wheel of the car as it sped into the Airport before sending it crashing into one of the hangers.
Having been braced for the impact, he then began to attack Hargreave, violently kicking him out of the car before tossing him into the ground and unloading punch after punch to his skull.
[color=9F2B68]"You're working for fucking Kenneth Black!? I've been after that bastard for years! There is 2 ways this is going to end, both of them involve me finding out where he is. You tell me where he is willingly and I'll double whatever he's paying. Otherwise, I'll beat it out of you. 3 seconds to make up your mind. 1...2..."[/color]
After all Kenneth had caused in the past, he wasn't exactly popular...

Violet was a little put off by the sudden change of mood with Selena, but he was now more worried about Icarus.
"He might be a bit hard-headed at times, but I didn't think he'd be in danger..." He answered, realizing that if Icarus didn't want to be found, it'd be a long time before he would.
"I'll see what I can do, but I can't make any promises..." He then said, letting his former playboy persona slip a little in the process.
Getting back to Vanessa, he then added "Well, it's a good thing you didn't, now isn't it? I'll get that sent up soon." before he flicked up another app on his tablet and began to send the meal order down to the Canteen.
"Truth be told, you were rather lucky, most explosions of that kind are fatal. Even in Failure, you've succeeded. That's one way of looking at it, perhaps?" He then said, hoping to help ease her concerns.

Vanessa paused for a moment or two before nodding along with what Violet had said. [color=666666] "Right, still breathing after something like that is an accomplishment all on its own, and they won't find a body... so maybe they won't be too worried..." Or maybe even more so... [/color] She thought out loud, seeming to be a little less on edge.

[color=666666] "I suppose I'll just have to depend on luck, though it pains me to say that..." [/color] She said with a sigh before giving Violet a thankful look and a more genuine smile. [color=666666] I guess he's not so bad when he's not trying to get in someone's pants... "Regardless, thank you. I've been failing a lot lately, but this is one of the first times I've heard of a failure described as a 'success' rather than a 'building block'." [/color]

Boss had been wandering the forest for ages that dagger at his belt was his only tool when suddenly he noticed something odd a massive storm cloud had drifted over him but he could swear the cloud was not just a big indistinct mass of vapor like most clouds it had a distinct shape he swore it resembled a castle. a deer was suddenly stricken by black lightning and something fast darted down and picked it up something with black wings, and he could have swore it looked familiar.

Boss looked up at the sky in disbelief. "'Go and get some groceries', he says." Boss said aloud. "'The forest is sanctified; nothing bad will happen to you on the way to town', he says. I'm going to have to remind Rob of this when I get back to his hovel." Boss looked up at the black cloud that had the audacity to resemble a castle. "Unless you're the local County Market." Boss said. "I bet you are. I bet County Market decided, 'Hey! Y'know what would make our great service and friendly employees even better? Being in a castle made out of clouds! It's a perfect plan, no chance for failure!'" Boss shook his head and slowly flew towards the sky-castle. "I guess I've got to go see what it is. Castles don't just pop up out of nowhere, right? Especially not castles made of clouds. Right? Right. Gotta go see what it is."

Lifting off from the ground, The President gave a nod to Matt while flipping off Kazuya as the hatch closed. "Keep an eye on that wanker, I don't trust him or his G Company ... as for Matt, he should be a good contact, give him a hotdog costume mission and all." Mr. President said while placing the card in his purple Saint brand wallet. Turning around he saw the people lined up in the helicopter, the Nuns were talking and giggling in the back, suddenly turning silent when the President turned to them. Waving them off they bowed and started to talk again.

"So how is the progress." President said turning to his rising Advisor. "All forces have exited the LA city, meeting up at the appropriate RV points to leave back to their appropriate bases." The Advisor had finally spoken, all eyes on him when he did. "Good work, now what about the Wizard? That is your area." The President said and pointed to Merlin, who was surrounded by the talking an giggling Nuns, they seemed to get along with him, Merlin smiling as well.

"I would like if he was under my eyes and authorized total freedom." He said to the President boldly, a more harsher look came from the President, but shrugged. "I have no problem ... just make sure he doesn't fuck with me or the country." The President said before sitting down, sighing. "Too ... fucking ... busy. What is next?" The cockney leader said with a tired voice. "We are meeting at one military base to catch Air Force One back to the House, then we have a meeting with Canada ... they interest me, especially with how the ... 'internet', treats them." The Advisor said while flipping through a large diary like book.

"Fuck me."

The helicopter along with the other swarm of US purple helicopters, flew across the sky. Going back to many US bases. Merlin would soon be able to gain the knowledge he wishes. Yet higher above, dark clouds roamed, but not for the reason humanity would expect.

as he flew up into the black castle he could see a somewhat imprecise attempt at Gothic architecture even crude gargoyles. the clouds had been solidified by some sort of magic but their was a fair bit of give if pushed and felt like warm cotton.
He could hear the sound of something happening someone was eating form the sound of it probably that strange entity that had somehow killed a deer, as he walked closer he saw the culprit he was surprised to see a young teenage boy, with violet eyes, he was wearing a black tunic with a blue undershirt, and had a black cloak, he had a pair of Black angelic wings. his raven hair was a bit of a mess, and his hands were bloody he had a huge platter of cooked venison and a roaring fire.
"W-what th-the hell, h-how did you you get up here" he stammered out as if words were hard to from his eyes were bloodshot and his face was fairly red it didn't take long to realize this kid was drunk. The kid stood up his legs were shaking, he clumsily walked forward
"Now who the hell are you? and what-what are you doing in my castle" he looked at him from the watery look in his eyes it seemed like he may have been crying a while ago.

Time: Afternoon

"Better question;" Boss asked. "What are you doing in my friend's forest? In a castle made out of clouds. A physicist is crying somewhere because of you."

The young...angel? Maybe? stumbled drunkenly towards Boss. He was actually a little taller than Boss was, and that was without his wings propping his height up a bit. Boss could smell liquor on his breath; rice wine, and good stuff if his nose was working right today. "You..." he said, poking Boss in the chest. "You're not...you're not funny. You're just...stupid."

Boss blew a raspberry at the young angel, and he...laughed. He stepped back, and laughed for a bit before stumbling backwards, falling on his back and crying again in earnest. "I'm a failure! FAILURE!" he shouted. "I SUCK! EVERYTHING I do is WRONG!"

Boss was...taken aback...again. He had a feeling this was going to be an odd day. Night. Afernoon. Something. Shaking his head and sitting down next to the boy, he asked. "Do y' wanna talk about it?"

Icarus sat down weeping into his hands
'Well where do I start My dad's dead, my mother was dying trying to contain the monster, a horrible creature that devours the flesh of humans and creatures and gets stronger some monster of a man, I managed to kill the creare but surpise surpise lil-icky had some suppressed memories turns out I almost killed my sister when I was 6, thats how I got these" He jerked his thumb to point out his wings.
"You had obtained wings by trying to-"
"NO I was born with these, hey were white, I'm an angel, and that not f#cking narcissism I'm a goddamn angel, my dad was part angel when he and my mom had me, and you know I had white wings but I F&cked it up." he shouted the last bit raising his arms Boss could tell this kid was more or less a wreck. something had messed him up hard.
"I learned that after killing Darkside, that's that monster I mentioned early-poh god" he suddenly ran to what was some sort of small hole in the wall possibly for dumping garbage, Boss hear heavy retching.
Icarus shuddered then lurched as he likely threw up.

Boss stroked his short beard. "That...that's a hell of a thing." Boss helped the young angel shuffle over to where his food was, shaking his head. Boss had never even had a family, not really. "I can't even imagine..."

"It's the worst." Icarus said, still sobbing. "I'm the WORST! NOTHING I do is right. NOTHING I do has EVER helped anyone! The world would be better off if I was just...just dead!"

"I doubt that." Boss said. "You killed Darkside, right? Hell, I couldn't even do that, and I've been know to throw skyscrapers at people on occasion. That's...that's something good."

"I shouldn't have killed him." Icarus said. "I should...I should have captured him and sent him back in time or to another dimension or anything other than killing him. I'm no better than he was, now..."

"Bullshit." Boss said. "I met that thing. It was like some kind of microbe. It didn't have any concern beyond it's own well being. It didn't even see anything other than itself as people; just...objects. That you have any sympathy for such a wretched thing shows how far removed you are from it."

"But I shouldn't have killed it." Icarus said. "I shouldn't have-"

"No." Boss said. "Listen, you can't...you can't let yourself obsess over the past. Even if it feels like you're the only person in the history of all mankind who's ever made a mistake, you're not. This probably won't even be the last time you make a mistake. But don't let yourself get lost in wishing, 'Oh, I wish I would have done this instead, I wish I would have turned right instead of turning left, I wish I would have swung a quarter of a second sooner.' That gets you nowhere. You can't take the world as you wish it was; take it as it is." Boss nodded. "If you want to make your life better, make it better now. Not way back when, not in the future, now.. What can you do now that will make your life better?"

Icarus looked at Boss confused. "I...don't know..."

Boss looked around for a moment, found Icarus's hip flask, and downed the rest of it. "Goddamn, that's good sake." Boss said. "And now your life is a little better, because you can't get any more drunk. Start easy."

Boss suddenly coughed up a literal ring of smoke from downing what was actually a lot of hyprpotent sake. Icarus grabbed him but not to catch him from suddenly falling over he slugged boss so hard he went flying out of the room
"YOU BASTARD, THAT WAS A GIFT FORM MY MOTHER, I MAY NEVER SEE HER AGAIN AND YOU JUST-YOU JUST" black electricity crackled
from his hands his pupils turned to slits the cloud suddenly froze becoming black ice. Boss could feel a sense of dread, Boss realized how this thing killed Darkside, his power was terrifying, he advanced.
"You understand n-nothing, your ignorance shall be your own undoing-inging as all that you know and all that you stand upon crumbles into -dust" he grabbed his head, being hammered probably was messing with him he suddenly slipped on his own cloak and that cold dread dissipated. The half angel sobbed
"Leave me, run, I can't control it, It'll consume me one day and then I'll forget everything I ever loved." he said laying on the floor as tears rolled down his eyes.

Before Kazuya could finish his countdown, Matt's Typhoon system activated and exploded in Kazuya's face. Knocking him backwards, Matt used this opportunity to jump to his feet and get into a basic fighting stance. "20 million and nothing less. And let me tell you right now that your first punch had better knock him out or kill him. Anything less than that will not go well for you," Matt stated coldly

"Glad we could give you that time, although it would have been nicer if you two actually got to spend the time for yourselves instead of learning how to fight." Teri, it just needs thinking on your feet and it's all things we went through with our physical training. Sadei responded in concern as the Shadows appeared, doing her best to reassure Teri. [color=b05fe9]"Teri, we're gonna get through to the bottom of this, so don't worry. Tama, you're up!"[/color]

Finally, since Devon was closest to Jenny, she was able to reassure the startled Gardevoir. [color=00c863]"Look, we're gonna get to the end of this so you need to stay with us. While the President's convoy was leaving the area, the built in TVs in his transport were set to the local news media as they were covering the aftermath of the attack.
Much to his dismay, that news Media was Fox News

"Welcome back to Fox and Friends, the big story today, of course, being the terrorist attack in LA. This story is still developing at the morning goes on, but I think we got the main points down.
Early last night, a well armed group of international thugs under the employ of the "Mishima Clan" or as he likes to call it, G-corp, landed in the city of LA under false pretenses of stopping an "Alien Attack". They then proceeded to cause massive damage to the Business district, revealing their true motive as wanting to undermine their business rivals by using their private military. Senator Armstrong was one of the first people to denounce the president for what he has called quote "The worst thing Japan has done to us since Pearl Harbor" and calls for quote "A global weapons system to keep both enemies and allies of America in line". While we don't advocate for his extreme calls, it's clear that our "Dear Lord President" needs a serious wake up call. And now for the weather."

Already, he could hear that smug cigar chomping bastard laughing at him...

"Well, I think it's better to be able to speak of your failures then to not be able to speak at all. Besides, we got a pretty good handle on Teleportation technology over here, might work out for the better in the end, hm?" Violet then added, shooting Vanessa a smile while one of the building's caters showed up with her salad.
"Speaking of, I am curious about how technologically advanced your world is. I mean, Teleportation here is still rather privately owned and guarded. While we can go from realm to realm, I don't think it'll be viable for the rest of the population to use in my lifetime." He then said as he walked back over to the console getting the teleportation read out.
"And even then, there are few people who would use such technology on a regular basis, I know the Rising Dawn have some issues with it. They are always jumping from one world to the next, It's as if someone fell asleep at the wheel or something!"
