Well hi there! Inspired by <a href=http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/18.132075-Cocktails>these <a href=http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/18.106909-The-Escapist-Recipe-Book-Thread>three <a href=http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/18.166319-Drink-Recipes#4411678>threads I thought I would make a collective recipe thread for all your favourite cocktails and mocktails!

Also, maybe for drinks like Tequila, participates could include their favourite drinking games too? Such as lick, drink, bite.

Disclaimer: Please adhere to drinking laws in your country, please. While I did drink underage, I don't condone it. So if you're underage, there are still some delicious mocktails for you to try!

So, for a preview, here is a mocktail and a cocktail that I enjoy!

Cosmopolitan
1 oz Vodka
1/2 oz Triple Sec
1/2 oz Lime Juice
Lime Wedge

Instructions:
Add ingredients and shake over ice.
Pour into Martini Glass.
Add lime wedge to the rim of the glass.
Feel fabulous.

Flamingo

100ml cranberry juice
50ml pineapple juice
15ml lemon juice
50ml soda water

Instructions:
Pour the juices into a cocktail shaker and shake with ice.
Strain into a high ball glass and top with soda water.
Garnish with a lime wedge.

Well right now I'm drinking a strange mix:

Vodka + Bacardi = horrible
Vodka + Bacardi + Diet Coke = drinkable
Vodka + Bacardi + Diet Coke + copious amounts of Smirnoff = Not all that bad.......

Key West Housewife:

1 full scoops of lemon sorbet
1 teaspoon of fine sugar
2 jigs of Ke Ke Key Lime Liqueur
ice

Blend the ingredients and serve in a highball glass with a lemon slice as garnish.

I'm quite fond af Galliano Hot Shots:

2 parts Galliano
1 part coffee
Whipped cream

Recipe:
Take a large shot glass and put in the Galliano followed by the coffee. Top it with whipped cream and you're good to go!

Kahlua + A&W root beer = tasty
Capt Morgan + 7up = Captain's Cream Soda

Seems like any drink I make must involve a soft drink.

Zombie
1/2 oz Bacardi 151 rum
1 oz pineapple juice
1 oz orange juice
1/2 oz apricot brandy
1 tsp sugar
2 oz light rum
1 oz dark rum
1 oz lime juice

Instructions:
Blend all ingredients with ice except Bacardi 151 proof rum.
Pour into a collins glass.
Float Bacardi 151 proof rum on top.
Garnish with a fruit slice, sprig of mint and a cherry.

Or how about a Darth Vader?

1/2 oz vodka
1/2 oz gin
1/2 oz Tequila
1/2 oz light rum
1/2 oz triple sec
1/2 oz Jagermeister

Instructions:
Pour vodka,Gin, Tequila, Triple sec and rum into a Collins glass filled with ice then top with 1/2 oz Jaegermeister

The Neuromancer:

Use Crosby's Still to convert a bottle of gin into a bottle of Calcutta Emerald, and an olive to a cocktail onion. Mix drink, and serve in a coconut shell.

Gives 4 Drunk, 14-18 Adventures, 25-27 muscle, and 16-20 moxie.

Blackberry infused voldka and any sort of light fizzy fruit drink (blood orange Italian soda is best) mixed in equal parts with ice, is delicious and dangerous because you can hardly taste the alcohol

It's an entire crystal light packet in one glass, and a ton of lemon juice if it's a crystal light lemonaid it's not a pleasurable expirience drinking this, but it's a pleasure watching someone else drink. You're welcome- Hollock.

I don't really count it as a cocktail though it fits the description, but you can't go past a White Russian.

2 Parts of Vodka
1 Part of Kahlúa
3 Parts Milk (cream or Bailey's can substitute)

As always the amounts can vary to personal taste.

A Starry Night by Van Gogh:

Goldschlager and one of the dessert tasting Van Gogh vodkas, Double Espresso works well and it could work well with the Dutch Chocolate. I've only made it with the Doublr Espresso. As a shot just mix the two, cocktail you can spread it out with soda water/ Better in shot form though.

Bubble Gum and Soda:

Bubble Gum vodka is amazing. Three Olives makes this kind of vodka. Mix it with soda water and you can make the flavor last, at least until you're done and then you can always pour another.

Okay, there aren't many mocktails on this thread so I'm just going to pop a few up too.

Ingredients:

1/2 cup chilled Ginger Ale
1 tablespoon Grenadine syrup
ice

Instructions:

Stir ingredients, pour over ice.
<spoiler=Virgin Margarita>Ingredients:
1/4 cup sour drink mix
splash of lime juice
splash of lemon juice (or orange juice for a different twist)
ice

Instructions:

Put all ingredients in blender. Blend until icy and smooth.
Garnish margarita glass with salt. Place a single lime slice on the rim.
<spoiler=Fuzzy Navel>Ingredients:

1/2 cup orange juice (fresh is best!)
1/2 cup peach nectar
ice

Instructions:

Pour the peach nectar and orange juice over ice.
Stir until mixed.
Pour into Highball glass
Garnish by putting a single mint sprig in the glass and put an orange wedge on the rim of the glass.

One of my favourites for a night in is a kahlua mudslide. Baileys, Kahlua, chocolate milkshake and ice cream on top.

Not necessarily boiling, but fairly hot.

Hmm, always wanted to try one of these:

Irish Car Bomb

Jameson Irish Whiskey
Baileys
Murphy's Irish Red

Setting it up:

Take a pint glass and fill it halfway with Murphy's.
Take a shot glass and fill it halfway with Jameson.
Fill the rest of the shot glass with Baileys.
Drop the shot glass into the pint.

Drink up as fast as you can.
