I was curious about what developers you guys see making it to the end? Obviously Square and Nintendo are going to defeat a number of people but is there anyone that you HOPE to see going long?

Personally I'm hoping to see Quantic Dream at least get through 2-3 stages just because I thought Heavy Rain was different (though they're competing with the fortress called Bungie 0_o). It has it's share of issues but at least they're taking a chance and infusing the industry with a bit of creativity and diversity instead of popping out another "John Blaine X-Fire Generic FPS shooter".

Bioware, Blizzard, Valve and Turbine will be the final 4.

This is true, though I'll do everything within my power to stop Turbine after last year.

Well, who I would like to see win and who I think will win are two totally different questions.

Who I think will win:
Valve, then
Bioware
Blizzard

Who I want to win:
Bethesda
Bioware
Valve

I'm a little disappointed Firaxis is already out. I guess the Civilization fanbase is a little older than the median age on this website which is probably more familiar with FF. Also very very annoyed that DICE is out, they make some quality entertainment and have all the way back to BF1942. Mirror's Edge proves that they have vision and ambition and will hopefully be around for a while.

I want Nintendo and Treasure to win but the odds of Treasure winning are so so low.

Well I knew Nintendo had a sealed win for the first round buuuut I'm hoping other more creative/original developers take the win. Personally I'd be okay with:

- Valve
- Bioware
- Team Ico (Colossus!)
- Bethesda
- The Behemoth (Castle Crasherrrrs!)
- EA Dice (Mirror's Edge was unique, Battlefield 2 proved they know what they're doing)
Any of them could snag a win and I'd be happy, though the likely candidates are the top two plus

- Bungie
- Infinity Ward
- Nintendo?
