<font color=red>THE GENERAL KNOWLEDGE GAME!

A chance to test the knowledge of other escapists! Is there a question that you've wanted to know the answer to? Well now you can ask that question at the expense of other people instead of going through the tiresome routine of consulting Wikipedia. Show off your intellectual prowess.

THE RULES:
1.A person shall ask a question they've wanted to know the answer to.

2.The person who posts next should answer the question.

3.That person should then ask their own question.

4.Please stick to the rules and not go off at tangents or make silly posts like "first post!"

5.Enjoy yourself, honestly it's more helpful than you know.

MY QUESTION:

For the biologists out there. Why do we yawn and how does it benefit us?

It varies, because children breathe faster than adults, and it depends on personal fitness, and when sleeping, but the average adult person breathes between 12-20 breaths per minute, which comes to 17280 to 28800 breaths per day. Probably closer to the smaller end of the scale, due to sleep.
