IMO, I enjoyed the first one a lot more. It wasn't so bloody long and I had a desire to grind a level or two near the end, but no place in which to grind. Get the EE? I think I'd rather just dust off my discs and play it vanilla.

Get Lord of the Rings: War in the North. Same developer, same engine and just as tedious as Dark Alliance. But for all intents and purposes, if you like DA then War in the North should be right up your alley.

I played War in the North the other day at a friend's house. It wasn't near as good as either of the BG:DA games. They had their issues, especially the second one but WITN felt beyond clunky and unpolished.
