The Escapist's new look?

Hi, I admittedly don't watch many shows on The Escapist, my regular three has now become my regular two (now discounting the late 'Extra Credits'), and honestly, that show had become a close third recently anyway.

So here's how I would like the movie line-up to look like, don't worry, this seriously only took 15-20 minutes.

Before I show you the massively long image, if you were to change it, what order would you have? Any similar to mine (especially top 2 and bottom 2)? I'm obsessed with polls, but I can't think of a good enough question for this thread.

Not 100% on this, but I believe that sidebar is organized due to popularity of the content it represents.

See, that's what I thought as well, but I just can't believe that Critical Miss, Escape to the Movies, The Big Picture AND Unskippable, would all be more popular than the Jimquisition. Maybe its been due for an update for 3-4 months, but otherwise, yeah, just my personal preference, that'd be how I had it.

I can so believe it.

That's what we like to call an opinion, and I happen to disagree :p

It's also likely to be automated and I'm sure there's some level of aggregation, either built in or just by the nature of how new Jim's show is.

I couldn't put them in a preferred order. It'd just be a big blob of ZP, Critical Miss, Name Game, the 2 MovieBob ones and the 3 LRR ones, followed by a big blob of the rest of them.

You're a very nice and friendly and especially contributory member of this community aren't you? Thank you 'so' much for adding to my thread... reported for spam again.

Anyone else, willing to contribute to this thread, please?

Yea I would probably be around the same. Except I would put the trailers below escape to the movies and the big picture (although he kind of lost me with his 147 part series on Hollywood history). For the most part though, I do agree.

You have to understand that most people don't like Jimquisition. I can't stand it, I know that much. I haven't checked any of the comment threads for his videos lately, but I can only imagine they're still filled with a bunch of people complaining about him. I may be wrong though. Maybe people are warming up to him.

Personally, I think it would be cool if the videos section fit what I watched the most. So it would probably go: Zero Punctuation, Extra Credits (RIP), The Big Picture, Escape to the Movies, Unskippable... And then whatever. Those are the only ones I watch.

I assume this thread is meant to ask, "What order would you put the shows in based on how much you like them?" ???

Then, you kinda derail your own thread (I think)a little bit by answering burningdragoon, who seems to think the thread was asking about why the list is ordered the way it is.

What I got out of the OP, is "What is your favorite content on the Escapist and here's a picture illustrating mine." If I got this totally wrong, let me know :)

Here goes:

1) Zero Punctuation
2) Critical Miss
3) Extra Credits
4) Jimquisition
5) Name Game
6) Miracle of Sound
7) Escape to the Movies
8) Big Picture
9+) I don't really care about the rest. I really liked ENN. Feed Dump, I watched once, thought it was stupid and never bothered again. I should probably give it another chance. Loading Ready Run is hit and miss. I've just stopped watching it for no real reason. I stopped watching Unskippable once again, for no particular reason. I watched No Right Answer once or twice, couldn't believe that was actually supposed to be a show and never watched it again. I don't even know what Drinking Games is exactly. I have no interest in Tales From the Table. I'd listen to the podcast if I could actually download it, but from my brief time spent figuring out how to do so, I came to the conclusion that you probably need to be a Pub Club member to download it. I'm not gonna listen to a podcast streaming from my computer. (EDIT: Herp a derp, finding the RSS feed URL was really easy this time around and now I'm subscribed. Hooray for me and my pathetic triumphs!)

P.S.: In case the thread's meant for the type of discussion burningdragoon brought up: I believe it's ordered by popularity. I've noticed the Jimquisition steadily rise from the bottom as it has been improving, and as the insulted audience have realized that Jim's not being deadly serious in all aspects of his persona, all the time.

As a random side-note: I would pay if The Escapist switched to a pay-gate model. But I doubt they'd do that.

I won't give that label, but you're mistaken yes, it's about the order of the videos, it could be how you would like them personally 'just because' (favourites and all), or due to their categorical popularity.

What's the problem with just an opinion being stated? You don't have to make the moderators get more work over a simple disagreement. Please... Calm down...
OT:
1. Zero Punctuation
2. MovieBob
3. Jimquisition
4. LRR
5. Others.
The problem is, if we allow people to spam without punishment, spam will continue. Some mods on these threads, are admittadly corrupt, there was once someone who was racist against me, and I complained to three different mods, none of which had the balls to do a damned thing, so I'll agree with, their may be futility in my quest for justice, I will continue to pursue it regardless, even if there's only little chance, I'll take little over none.

Whoa there. Get down off that high horse.
It's not spamming if it's expressing a relevant opinion.

OT -
The Big Picture
Escape to the Movies
ZP
Critical Miss
Name Game
Unskippable.

Beyond that I don't really watch any so I'm not overly fussed.

Critical Miss, Escape to the Movies and Unskippable are my favorite 3. I like EC, but I don't always watch it.

Everything else

I put ZP first only because it's the show that made this site what it is today. I much prefer LRR personally.
My inclination would be to put Jimquisition last. Jim Sterling seems like a decent, smart guy, but I really don't enjoy that show

Firstly, its not my high horse, its the common will of the people, justice should be served.

Secondly and more importantly, it was spam, it was a one liner made by someone behaving like an imbecile, and they deserve suspension/warning.

Really? Because Critical Miss is barely funny, and LRR isn't at all.

If I had it my way, it would be:
1) Jimquisition
2) Big Picture
3) Escape to the Movies
4) Zero Punctuation
5) No Right Answer
6+) I don't watch the other crap

Well allow me to contribute. Jimquisition is a sea of crap where in lies many a sparkling gem, but to be honest I haven't watched it for some time. Your opinion is not at the exclusion of all others. That which you reported as spam was not spam, it was an opinion that conflicts with yours. Evidently your either so immersed in your own ego that you believe everyone should share your opinion and anyone who does not is en error or otherwise inept, or your so insecure in your own beliefs that you need others to validate them for you by agreeing with you unequivocally or you'll have a little nervous break down. Please enlighten me, which is it?

Mine would pretty much move Miracle of Sound, Name Game and Critical Miss to the top and keep the rest in the same order underneath them.

I'm not going to rise to the bait and cause a flame war, but I don't think it's the "common will of the people" as much as it is your opinion.
Also, it's a forum, on the internet, you sound like you're discussing the death sentence with that 'Justice should be served' line.
Anyway, as I've swerved off topic, and you've no doubt reported me by now, I'll say goodbye and just not post in this thread anymore.

OT - If they still existed, I'd have listed EC and Doraleus and Associates in my top five.
