[HEADING=2]The evolution of video game controllers.[/HEADING]

Hey guys I wanted to share this with you

Aperenatly an Infographic-designer named GeeGrl took the time to describe the evolution of game controllers in one nifty image.
Apparently it goes from the 1952 tennis for two all the way to the playstation move sharpshooter.

I couldn't keep this to myself so here's a link to the orriginal page and the article (in dutch) I found it trough:

Thanks for sharing! Already saved the picture, because that is seriously awesome and very, very well done. It's really impressive that it goes all the way back to 1958 and have, what seems to be every controller in existence, included some of the more obscure ones(which then, didn't really amount to much, from the look of it).

It's almost worth putting it on a poster and selling it. Someone would buy it, of that, I'm sure.

To be honest, we've only gone backwards since the Power Glove. Nothing can beat that.
Pretty intresting picture though!

I see a distinct lack of the Steel Battalion controller...

Then again, I don't think that a controller with only one game really, wait, PONG discredits that theory. Damnit, where's my mech control console!?

That's a pretty cool image OP, thanks for the share.

Is this first party contollers only? Where's the Agetech Dreamcast controller?
Nope, it definitely isn't first party only. Note the TurboTouch 360 in there...although only the SNES version is shown.

Though I imagine it'd be a fair bit more complicated if all third-party controllers were in it.
