I was wondering as I never get to see the facial expressions of my fellow escapists what faces you wear and when. I will use mine as an example.

Home Faces:

Normal: I have a neutral face no real emotion on it, my emotion is in my eyes (people say I tend to look annoyed).

Sad: This is a hard one to describe, but this will be shown in my lips, as there will be no hint of a smile

Happy: This has two stages first there is a crooked grin on the right side of my face. Second and I actually smile (this is rare). Yes I have a reason for this.

Angry: All in the eyes and body language. My face goes neutral but I have been told my eyes go dangerous and I start to move as if I am stalking my prey.

Work Faces:

Normal: Always have on my crooked grin with eyes that are full of life (voice tends to be slightly upbeat).

Sad: There is no sad work face

Happy: Big grin, upbeat voice, eyes full of life.

Angry: See Normal home face.

Meetings: Face is neutral, while my eyes show interest (very alert), and my body language shows that I am intrigued by the ideas the speaker has.

My true face

I really have no idea. I consider myself split in two, light and dark to make it easy to explain. If you really want to get to know me I wish you luck as I have yet to figure myself out.

I have only one expression, and that's my frowny face.

Although my eyebrows move of their own accord.

I don't have different faces, I have one capable of displaying up to several different emotions.

And I don't have to deal with customers, so no need to consider that either. (There's a guy that deals with god damn customers so I don't have to. He has people skills; he's good at dealing with people, etc...)

I wear the faces of my dead victims, the fuck are you people talking about?

[sub]A look of cynical disdain graces my visage at nearly all times.[/sub]

Frowny face is my defaut and permanent expression. Years of being pissed off at everything will do that to you

Your home face should be your true face. If you can't be yourself in the privacy of your home, where can you be yourself?

If you're interested in the nature of what you show on your face google JACBART (I hear you and you are immature).

I go AWOL.

I'm in my own world. Some people say I look kinda angry.

I constantly have a smug fucking grin on my face, which extends into a teeth-baring smile when I'm amused.

However, when I'm mad, and I mean truely mad, people have said I look like some pissed off animal with rabies. Good times.

If I'm upset it's always more visible in my body language than on my face, I won't be participating in conversation as much, that kinda stuff. Normally I'll crack jokes and stuff more or less constantly and smile if I'm happy. Angry is just a frown, and my true face is kinda blank but with cold blue eyes.

Public face: As neutral as possible. You show negative emotions, people see you as weak, and an easy target. You show positive emotions (when you're alone), and people think you're crazy. You can't win, just show no emotion.

College face: Neutral, then angry if I get angry. I'm about done acting polite to people with nothing better do to than waste my time and mess me around, if someone wrongs me, they will know it.

Home face: Happy as possible in front of my parents, whatever I actually feel like when in private. This is the only time I exhibit by true emotions, for it is the only time when it is viable to do so.

Can't have the roomates know what one is thinking.

To me it seems more natural to hide myself and put on masks. The idea that you only have one face confounds me.

Here they are in list form:

Normal/Nuetral: My most common of all emotions/faces. No smile, no frown, eyes look lazy, basically emotionless.

Normal-Sad: Slight frown, eyes more downcast than usual. I aboid eye cantact slightly, but will look you in the eyes when talking to you.

Normal-Happy: Slight smile, eyes brighter than usual, posture more solid, and defined. More receptive to new ideas and suggestions (one day I might not want to go swimming, the next I'll be all for it).

Sad: I cease speaking with others, I sit and brood, and it becomes difficult to bring my spirits up, luckily this is my second rarest emotion.

Happy: Exact opposite in all ways to Sad, including being my second most common emotion.

Anger: All emotion drains from my face, my mouth is painted with an annoyed scowl, and I glare at whoever made me angry. I usually end up leaving if someone angers me, however if the situation escalates (they attack me or something), then it leads to violence. Fortunately, this is my least common emotion, and I'm happy to say I've been able to keep control of said emotion for about 1-1/2 years now.
