The fast, weak attack or the slow, powerful attack?

Whichever gives me the most DPS. Typically that's the fast weaker attack.

Also the fast weak attacks look a lot more interesting and dynamic than attacks that have a 2 second delay/recharge.

Assuming I have a team-mate or 3, slow and powerful. Most people I team up with tend to prefer quick moves, so some sort of balance is nice for when that doesn't work.

When alone, whichever one lets me be more maneuverable. In Demon's Souls, for an example, that was light armor and a dagger until I got enough Stamina or whatever that I could switch to full plate, a Tower Shield, and that big Warmace while still being able to roll quickly. I don't care which puts out more damage, so long as I can move on the battlefield to land said hits.

I'm more for the speed attacks. I understand how gratifying it is to connect with a slow powerful attack, but I would personally like to get in the quick combo ya know?

Fast attack all the way.

That way I don't have to deal with my attacks constantly being interrupted while I'm readying my weapon.

I prefer the idea of slow but powerful more. Tanking hits and destroying everyone in my path. A good demonstration of this.

I also find this more fun in actual gaming.

I prefer weak but fast attacks. The logic is simple- if your attack misses or gets blocked, you lose less if it was weak. You can spare a round or two in a minigun, but you have to save your ammo with a sniper riffle.

Fast attacks all the way, for pretty much all reasons already stated, unless I'm sure the enemy won't be able to interrupt me. Then I'll spam the heavy attacks.
