The FedEx Emblem

I know this is old, extremely old actually, but I have no idea if this is posted already (already looked through the search feature). So, did any of you notice the arrow within the emblem? The one inbetween the "E" and "x"?

Also, bonus question: Did you find the spoon in said emblem?

Yeah, not much to discuss. You could maybe ask for other people to post there favorite use of 'empty space' in advertising, or whatever it's called.

Or ask people about how many cheeses they are going to eat in the next few days ; P

yeah. I think the FedEx logo is like a required subject in graphics design (I had to look at it too. Bunch of other ones too, but this is the one the teacher required us to look at). I think the spoon is over-analyzing the pic (I assume you reference the e), since the arrow was intentional to show that fedex gets things moving. A spoon would do nothing for their image.
