this is somthing Ive gotten more or less recently

mainly, when it comes to games (and other stuff of coarse) I hate the feeling that theres somthing I dont know..story/plotwise

what this relates to is getting the "extra" stuff...weather that be books or comics books, like Mass effect: Redemption explaing what Liara T'soni was doing in-between the games

or right now the comicbook based on Infamous which I think gives important info in between infamous 1 and 2 (I havnt playes number 2 yet)

Assasins creed drives me mad, because I feel from the games I only part of whts really going on, though part of that I think it because during most of AC 2 I didnt know what what was going on (hence why I actually read one of the books)

now this stuff probably isnt essential to most peoples expereinces, but for some reason I hate the Idea of not knowing or having a complete picture of the whole thing, and thats also why certain DLC annoyed me, I couldnt get it so I felt there was somthing I was missing out on

so do you buy/veiw extra stuff to get a bigger picture? or do you feel that stuffs pointless?

I'll buy anything that has artwork from the games in it like Diablo 3 and Book of Cain or the Assassins Creed encyclopedia which literally details everything up to latest game.

Not so much that I am worried about missing things, I just like the artwork. Wikipedia was made for the reason of finding out stuff that I couldn't be bothered to buy.

This actually frustrates me greatly when it comes to Mass Effect. I care enough about the story to want to know the other things that go on. I'm not sure if they're important, but I can't know unless I get them. And I really dislike getting DLC. Same with stuff that came out for Dragon Age: Origins.

If I like the series enough I really want to know the full story. I can, and do, look it up online. But it's not quite the same...
with dragon age I got the expansion pack because I figured it was worht getting (havnt played it yet..but Im glad I own it)

but yeah, I was actually going to mention shadow broker and such, for a long time it annoyed me..untill I was able to get DLC, I still dont like DLC though because download through PSN is a PAIN in the ass (in regards to mass effect DLC shadow broker and Arrival are definetly woth getting, especially arrival...at least in preperation for ME3)

But yeah..reading it on a wiki feels like "cheating" which is why I havnt touched assasins creed wiki
