What about "I've just Seen a face" or maybe the ever-awesome "Strawberry Fields"? Wouldn't it be great if it actually turned out to be "Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite"?

Obla-di, obla-da is what I want to play...
Perhaps Yellow Submarine as well.
I want Let it Be to be the finale, though.

Just a thought, I really hope the last setlist will be played on a roof top in liverpool
It would be awesome

Huzzah ^-^
Atleast Yahtzee won't dig into the game for not being correct to The Beatles then if he ever reviews it
Given Yahtzee's obsession with Guitar Hero and being English, I think it's a fair bet he'll give it a going over.

When it gets to Australia.
Rub it in, you smug bastard!

$10 says "Hey Jude" or "Let it Be."
I'm in for $10 on "Let it Be"

Sad that Eleanor Rigby doesn't seem to be on there, but it was hardly suited for the instruments available in Rock Band. (Unless they made a Cello extension.)

Is it just me (and apparently Yahztee) or is this game a big waste of time? If you pick up a real guitar and practice for about 3 months, you can play most of the Beatles' tracks. Don't get me wrong, I love the Beatles (my fellow Liverpool citizens), but nearly everyone knows the words to the songs and as stated above they aren't hard to play for real!

In summation Beatles = Geniuses

Beatles: Rock Band = A cash in and a complete waste of time!

I think your forgetting the "having fun" part.

Well no I'm not. Playing the songs for real is much more fun than pressing coloured buttons, and you feel a real sence of achievement(!) when you get through a song perfectly

True, but learning how to play an instrument is a long (if rewarding) process, plus, there is the problem of getting three guys who can play guitars and sing and one guy who can drum.
Basically, it is a better option for people who don't have any musical talent, nor any friends who have the required talent too; and I guess it's good if you are too busy to learn.

Ok I will concede that you have a point there, but for someone like me who has played the guitar for ten years, then my original post stands

It HAS to be "Hey Jude." There's no way that they could release this game without that.

Maybe for you, but many people prefer simplified abstractions over reality. Or, more simply, different people have fun in different ways. Some people enjoy having the constant feedback that these games provide; others enjoy the idea of interactively 'playing' the song while still hearing it actually played by professionals; still others, as dekkarax points out, want the thrill of playing an instrument without making the time investment of learning how.

Personally, I'm still waiting on Guitar Rising [http://www.guitarrising.com/index.html].

Why no "I'm Only Sleeping" on the set list? Come on, I'd love to see someone try and play that backwards guitar solo.
