the first Dark souls cheat/trick

I was playing Darks soul on the PS3 and a boss killed me. I was so pissed that I pressed on the PS# button of the controller and turn of the PS3 right away, I was done for the night. So the game closed before I death was properly processed.
The next morning I try again. when I load my character, I am right before the white fog! I didn't have to the trip from the bondfire! I had all the estus flasks I had before entering the white fog. I'm not sure about item items like firbomb...
but it's more or less a way to access a temporary checkpoint.

Yeah I did that once, don't know how reliable it is though. Not even sure it's worth doing since the only boss that's given me any real trouble is

and that was only because I didn't have the black knight shield when I tried first so the big explosion ripped me apart if I was hacking away at her legs.

I used the duplicating souls glitch. It's a great glitch. I'm only 13 hours in and I'm level 98. I would be higher, but the guide I read didn't explain the glitch too well, and I used up alot of souls in the process.

Just be careful, it'd be really sucky to get a corrupted save file after hours and hours in...

I've stopped playing entirely because I keep getting invaded by level 700 Darkmoons, Darkwraiths, and Forest Hunters. (Yes, I could just stay Hollow, but then I can't summon phantoms or use my Red Soapstone either.)

That doesn't sound right, i though you could only be invaded by people that were a level 10% higher or lower than you .

That doesn't sound right, i though you could only be invaded by people that were a level 10% higher or lower than you .

It may be like when people got the game early, and FROM Software sent in high level enemies to screw with the people that had got it before they were supposed to.

That doesn't sound right, i though you could only be invaded by people that were a level 10% higher or lower than you .

Darkmoons, Darkwraiths, and Forest Hunters are exempt from that. They can invade and be invaded by anyone of any level when using their covenant items/rings.
