The First TMNT: Out of the Shadows Trailer Delivers Schoolgirl April O'Neil

This looks pretty good but the thing is...There's a good chance that we saw a majority of Bebop and Rocksteady's screen-time. There's also a chance that this Baxter Stockman won't transform into The Fly until the next movie (assuming there will be a third movie). Finally there's the subtitle: Out of the Shadows. Isn't that the title of the awful XBLA TMNT game from...what, 2012? 2013? When it comes to Schoolgirl O' Neil that's nice and all but she's almost definitely not going to wear that when The Foot or Kraang kidnap her so what's even the point?

Oh one last thing: How many times have we seen that thing where a huge, tough bad guy runs in between two lines of cars and they explode as it runs between them? I've begun to lose count at this point. In fact I think The Rhino from Amazing Spider-Man 2 did that...

This looks like it might actually be a lot of fun, not good mind you, but fully enjoyable. Furthermore the loss of the grimmdark elements without going full derp seems to be working in its favour as well as a lack of turtle noses. *shudders

P.S. I know that the original turtle comics were pretty dark but as far as I know they did not take themselves so super cereal.

Was this a joke that I just don't understand? If not, then you should probably know that Bebop and Rocksteady not only outdate Tokka and Rahzar, but that the second duo were only created to avoid needing the legal clearance of using Bebop and Rocksteady in the original movies.

Yes, that was meant to be a joke. Tokka and Rahzar sucked and everyone knows it.

Yes their was some seriously iffy SFX there, the other one that stood out was Rocksteady ploughing through the cars.

Other than that the trailer didn't make me hate on the movie, apart from Megan Fox my god that women just needs to go away.
