?No matter how many times a person dies, surrenders, or escapes in battle, they always leave a bloody stain on the world. War still exists because of this. If we are to stop fighting, we first need to no longer hate each other. The times have changed; I hope to make a brighter future? Too much blood has been shed??

Alisa---
The elevator ride up to the NAR testing site was a freighting experience. All around her she could see other participants and it put her on edge. This test she was going to take she had been preparing for month, no years, ever since she wanted to be part of NAR. A job in Computer Intel Department or CID was for the best of the best, and it wasn?t a fun trip trying to get in. In a single day, a CID worker, decodes, analyzes, tracks, spies, and even hack, all together making it one tough job for the average person.
Other students in his class in High School were lazy, some showed the same enthusiasm as she did but they were far and in between. The Space Station of New Hope is controlled by NAR but Mages and Vampires do lurk about. There were many places in New Hope to hide, in the past she had gotten lost various times, none which were pleasant trips.
As the elevator opened up Alisa rushed out and prepared her ID card that would allow her to be verified and ultimately allow her to take the test. If not, she would have to wait till the next test, next year. Any compromise was not an option, it was all in now, or not. Only two would make it through this test, she wouldn?t settle for be the 2nd one, if she did, she wouldn?t be happy with herself. One of her many quirks.
When she came up to the checkpoint, she held out her ID and the blue light lazed over it and then a small red light turned green and opened. Once she passed, the door shut behind her, and it was as if she had stepped into another world. Outside the checkpoint, it looked bland, grey walls, no plants, no windows. Suddenly all around her was lights, holograms, computers, and the brightest minds to ever exist in this solar system. Now it was time for her, to be one of them.
Using her ArmComp, she input the ID and it pointed in the direction of the test. She envied those who already held the job she was trying to achieve. Various people looked over, they could tell using there ArmComp that she was a Gavech. High expectations were created which she wouldn?t let fall. Alisa had to admit, she didn?t know what was on the test, and she had been anxious the previous night and didn?t bother to look at the booklet. It was time for her to rely on some luck.
Others who were taking the test who had arrived early were already standing outside the door. To her, they were obstacles, to them she was a threat. The Gavech?s had risen to the high heights or NAR over three hundred years ago. Needless to say, it was quite intimidating. Once the others who had been in her elevator arrived, the door to the test slid open and they entered.
Meo---
He had been waiting for over an hour, standing outside a door to the Head Office of CID. Over a month ago he had scheduled an appointment to meet with the Head Man of CID, Dominic Heat. It wasn?t so much the waiting that was killing him, but the anticipation. This meeting was a top priority and could determine his faction?s next line of actions. Without this, they would be going in blind.
Suddenly the door opened and a woman stepped out. She was in her mid-thirties, but already grey hair had begun to show. ?Mr. Dominic will see you now.?
Meo went past her and stepped in. She didn?t reenter but instead went down the nearby stairs. Dominic was on his Computer with his legs up on his desk, with a look of boredom until he looked up at Meo. He stood up and went past the desk and shook his hand. ?Meo Ion! Good to see you! How have the preparations for Operation Take Back been going? I bet the Noi faction is getting a bit anxious to get going with it.?
?They?re indeed. Now before we talk anymore, this room is secure, right? No footage, no sound going outside?? Meo talked his eyes looking around the room.
Dominic clapped his hands together. ?It is indeed. Well onto business. You need that Intel correct? I have it here, want me to transfer it to your ArmComp??
Meo pulled out a cord from his ArmComp. ?Link it with yours, wireless can be traced. Don?t want you to get caught.?
?Yes we don?t certainly want that. To be found out to be giving Intel to an enemy faction, I would be shot on sight.? He attached both of their ArmComps to each other and after a short minute, the Intel began to transfer. As fast it began it finished and both of their ArmComps detached.
He spoke as he looked over the Intel. ?It?s still hard to think that you are willing to help us. Why was it again? My Mother never quite explained that to me when I was told to come here the previous times.?
Dominic crossed his arms. ?It was because of the Noi?s faction?s ideals, equality for all. As the great Lorel Ion had wished for. I believe in them. Now I want to ask you a question, why was the faction?s name changed from Ion to Noi? It?s Ion backwards.?
?You know how the NAR look at us, the Ion faction. We changed it to the Noi faction before we went big and so there was a less connection. A simple person could figure it out, but eh, we thought it could confuse things as Noi is an actual family that does exist in the South. Well are we done here? I need to get on the next shuttle down to the City.?
?We?re. Hope you use that Intel to further spread your faction?s power. Just remember to be careful, I feel a times are about to change.?
?We will.?
