The Game made me do It!

Whenever I carry things round (mops, brooms, etc.) I sometimes hold them like a weapon from any game on my mind. (usually Final Fantasy but it varies based on what I'm holding)

I sometimes like to go "Hadouken!" or "Sonic Boom!" at my big brother, cause he dislikes Street Fighter and any game that involves magic, like Final Fantasy

There's a friend of mine who does 'FALCUN PUNNNNCHH'. That is annoying on another level though.

I bought a coat just like the one Leon has at the begining of Resident Evil 4 because I thought it would be both stylish and warm. I was correct.

I wish it was appropriate to buy some of the outfits of my favorite characters. Although I see what you mean. It does look stylish and warm.

Well, whenever I talk to a reporter I make sure to end the conversation by clotheslining them...

Seriously though, if I'm trying to sneak around the house without waking anyone, I crouch and try sticking to walls. And if I'm out in the countryside with my family (we walk a lot) and I come across a big hill you can be damn certain I'm going to scramble up it and pull some victory poses (bonus points if I do it at sunset and get silhouetted).

Also, if I'm unloading the dishwasher on my own I'll swing the knives like daggers and 'stab' them into the knife block.

My favourite though has to be when I catch myself subconsciously mimicking some of the animations used during conversations in Mass Effect (my favourite being that awkward way they punch their palms sometimes) or one of my other favourites. Either that or y'know, shouting 'BOINK' anytime I hit the ball in a sport involving bats.

The two best ones are 'PK FIRE' and 'Hiiii'. Both in game and in real life.

Okay I got a really bad one, when I was very little (I remember my parents telling me this) I used to run around like link and read signs out loud.

I am very suprised that they didn't say I pretended to swing an imaginary sword at them to chop them off...

i think the only one i've got is from brutal legend: whenever i'm doing anything and someone either: gets a killing blow in warhammer; get's a critical hit kill in fire emblem; anything goes close to anyone's neck in a mock fight while swinging in an arc (my friends are very hyperactive), i always have to make like i'm playing a guitar or throw up the horns and shout out "DECAPITATIOOOON!!!!"

or when i randomly start humming the opening theme to MGS2, no matter where i am or what is going on

Lets ignore game violence for today and focus instead on the fun and positive influences that todays games might have on our lives. Anything from humming a theme tune to dressing like our favourite game characters.
So open up and be honest girls and boys, we're all gamers here.
Has any body found themselves creeping around like rogues in the dark when nobody is looking or running with their hands behind their backs like Naruto does? Who cant resist the urge to do a classic victory pose from a Final Fantasy game when something goes your way? And how many of you ARE trying to dress like Dante or Rikku or even having a Solid Snake bandana around your heads?

I'll start with my embarrasing habit of always humming a tune from NinetyNineNights when i'm walking my dog across a field that reminds me of one of the battlefields =S

Secondly, ever since playing Folklore on PS3 I've developed a career interest in writing for a Paranormal magazine.

And to Finish, Ever since I started buying my own clothes many years back Ive always tried to wear crossing red belts and coats that look like the one Squall Leonhart has in FF8. Not so much now but old habits die hard.

Well mine was on accident

I'm poor so I don't have many clothes
2 pairs of blue jeans
a pair of white winter gloves
many varying shirts
and 1 pair of red low top converse

on a cold day I was wearing as much as I could
and my only long-sleeved shirt was blue

so I was wearing all blue
white gloves
and red shoes

...2 years later the sonic jokes still haven't stopped

I have a list, but I don't do all of these very frequently. I'm kinda listing everything I have done or currently do:
*I love saying "GET OVER HERE!!!"
*I usually say "TIGER!" around my friend Jacob, as he hates Street Fighter, and anything to do with Sagat enrages him.
*I can usually be heard whistling/humming almost any song from Silent Hill that doesn't sound like a power drill. Favorites are "Promise" and "Acceptance".
*I commonly say "Would you kindly..."
*When I hold things, I usually hold them like Gordon Freeman holds his crowbar.
* I love walking around like Sam Fisher. What can I say: He's that awesome.
*Sometimes I randomly move my eyebrows and shift my eyes side to side. Ring a bell?

*Whenever something goes my way, I either say "PERFECT" like the announcer in Street Fighter or jump in the air, pump my fists up and yell "YEAH!!!", not unlike

*Whenever someone dies a particularly gory death in a movie, I always say "FATALITY."
*Whenever I get hurt in a way that should hurt a lot but really doesn't, I say "I'VE GOT BALLS OF STEEL."
*I love quoting the Doom comic, but I don't usually get the chance.
* I enjoy using ridiculous amounts of hand gestures like Vincent from SH3 sometimes.
*I occasionally use GLaDOS quotes when they fit, using that same mechanical monotone.
*I have a jacket that looks like Phillip's from Penumbra. Eh, I guess a lot do, but that's how I like to think of it.
*When I make Toast or waffles, I usually squeal "TOASTY!!!"
*I'm not sure if "You shouldn't have done that..." counts.
*I absolutely love repeating the terible voice acting from the first Resident Evil, especially Barry's.
