The Game OverThinker or teamwork?

Hey I was wondering if The Escapist has ever thought of putting some of the game overthinker onto the escapist? i guess it may be a bit hard hitting and with some harsh language and not the most open minded things. But he has some very good comments in here, check it out even the 1st episode punches deep and the 2nd episode completly makes you think about such another side of stuff and etc.

How about some corss overs, like zero punction and extra credits togehter talking about something. ( i know it would be difficult go get a script for it but i think the escapist is creative enoguht to make it )

The Game Overthinker is already on Screwattack. If it weren't, since most of Escapist favorably views Bob, he probably would have 3 shows then.

Which is weird, because I usually picture the Escpaist generally liking good stuff.

ahh lol forget about yahtzee for a second i love him, i would still like a cross over with multiple groups talking or like discussing? ( even with out funny pictures or something, these staff memebers truly intrest me expecially movie bob and yahtzee )

Ultimately, no.
a) Game Overthinker is pretty big for Screw Attack, considering it's one of their Partner Shows. I doubt they'll roll over to The Escapist hosting it.
b) The monthly schedule isn't really The Escapist's style.
c) The Big Picture is pretty much The General Overthinker in all but name.
d) Would Bob want to have Yet Another Deadline to deal with? Honestly, I don't think so.

There's not much value to be seen with crossing over the various Escapees. Yahtzee is best left doing his own thing, he's anarchy, countertuitive opinion on video game mechanics as a whole. The Extra Credits team is more a deconstruction of gamers and society, albeit delivered in a less harsh fashion with more of a message.

There could be something there but it would require a debatable point of contention.

ah ty for the response! i understand why moviebob shouldnt also come on the escapist but seriously !! the screw attack is so difficult to watch, alas.
How many of you guys watch the gamer overthinker and your disscusion on it?

Game Overthinker is a pretty good show. He does a good job of summarizing long standing debates and general issues. It's not exceptional though, by any means. And I'm sure that the Escapist can't publish any ScewAttack stuff. I like both sites, for different reasons. AVGN is a big part of that .

I would actually love maybe like once a month to have MovieBob, Yahtzee, and the Extra Credits guys do a monthly show that was like 10+ minutes of them just discussing something(s) that wasn't rehearsed so they really wouldn't have to write anything. Even though Yahtzee is overly harsh on games in his reviews, he brings up very good points at times in his reviews and in his Extra Punctuation. I actually think Yahtzee would do good reviews if he was a professional reviewer; the gaming media needs reviewers to stop giving every game 7s and higher.
