I can credit many games in my early development, especially on an old Mac I had. Bubble Trouble, Crystal Quest, Nanosaur, and Bugdom were better than any mac-exclusive games that you can run on a modern system. Also, Pokemon Blue and Super Mario Bros. Deluxe on my GameBoy Colour.
lol. Nanosaur. I remember that game being on the macs that we had in Comp. class.

I didn't get so by one game. It started with Tekken 3 and Super mario world, but then i got a bit bored with games until i bought legend of zelda Twillight princess for the gamecube.

well my first real game was doom but i'd say it was red alert 2 that did the job of making me a true gamer.

When i was like six or something my Dad got me started playing the game Heretic. It was a lot like Doom. If you don't know it look it up, it was fun with loads of different weapons available. I still play it occasionally on some websites but I have no idea what happened to the disc.

I played Tetris casually, and a few of the King's Quests as well. I would only play games when I had absolutely nothing else to occupy my time. But then I found KOTOR... I gave up sleep to play that game. It was the first game that I was obsessed with. After KOTOR I started to seek out games, instead of just playing what was suggested by friends.

The X-Men game at the local arcade started it.
Then came a brickbreaker style game on a friend's computer, Diamonds
Lastly... SimCity 2000. The beginning of it all.

It started with Forza 2, Halo 3, then Halo CE. From then on I new I was not only a gamer, but a Halo Fan.

Ratchet and Clank. Despite its mediocrity, it sucked me in like an overclocked vacuum cleaner. I spent hours replaying the game, all for the fun.

i'm really showing my age here but mine was Ghostbusters for the Commodore 64...
Oh snap, Commodore 64! I haven't done anything with "comma 8 comma 1" in forever. That was an impressive thing way back when! (No, seriously!)

Now that I am reminded of it, I loved River Raid. I could have probably played it for hours on end... if I wasn't 6 and generally bad at hand-eye coordination, the controllers we had weren't crap, and I could stay at my grandparents' house for more than 10 minutes after starting a game.

Ah, good times. Good times.

The original Spyro the Dragon game was what got me started. Then Goldeneye came into my life and the rest is history.
