I think this is what we think of when we talk about "Gamer Language". There's a lot of game-specific language that we use, even when not talking about that specific game. Just think of any game and certain techniques and parts of the game earn special names in "Gamer Language"DelphiSantano said:i see what you mean, and i think it varies between games.
It probably isn't so much a separate language, but just certain phrases that only gamers would use and understand.
For example:
Guitar Hero/Rock Band - FC, gold-star, etc.
CS and other FPS' - Headshot(maybe...), t's, ct's, etc.
WoW and other RPG's - ding, questing, leveling, power-leveling, etc.
There are probably so many more, but those are some of the first that come to mind.
Yep, plenty of it going on in wow.rokkolpo said:i suggest trying a wow trial and be prepared to be BLOWN AWAY! (i didn't get a word)

gibberish ftw.
For example:
"Accidentally pulled aggro off tank, pwnt instantly before I could drop it. Got b-rezzed and popped up SR, rip, rake, but heals was oom. Wiped and lost one DPS, couldn't find a replacement in gchat, lfg, or trade."
