"OCZ claims the nia can cut reaction times by as much as 60 percent over a conventional mouse controller."

'Wow'
Yet everything I have found on this device shows that it does not control the mouse, only simple keyboard functions.
Furthermore: http://www.custompc.co.uk/news/602163/ocz-brain-controller-in-mass-production.html
Person testing the product:
"However, he also reckoned that it would be no subsitiute for a set of WASD keys when it came to accuracy."

Yep you control keystrokes Hurah!
Can anyone find info otherwise?

For most gamers i think it'd be kinda useless, how often when playing a game past the first level have u had to think "mouse 1" is fire? for most of us its just reactive i doubt my relfexes would improve much with it because i dont consiosly think about clicking the mouse to shoot (this is assuming ur using it for a fps btw) i dont think at all as far as ive noticed. Where as this thing sounds like itd need a very precise thought to get the command.

I almost died of laughter when they tried to test this at the gaming convention last month and it failed completely.

I can't see this working myself. As Gormless said, most of the time mouse clicks and button presses are just instictive.

Plus what happens when, for example, the cat jumps up on your lap, or someone starts talking to you when you're in the middle of a firefight? Can this device cope with the everyday distractions that would crop up, or would you need to sit in a sealed room to use it?
