Ah, nostalgia. There's nothing quite like the bittersweet feeling of something long gone that you wish you could see just one more time (or just one time, as the case may be). Instead, we have to cling to whatever memories we have left, hope that someone brings it back someday, and stare wistfully out of various windows until then.*
So what is it that you wish you could do that you simply can't seem to get your hands on anymore? What things invoke a feeling of nostalgia with you? Do you think you can ever achieve the things that you wish you could?
I'll post the thing I chase after in a while, but for now I'll give you what sparks it. One thing is countryside scenery. I really do miss the idyllic sense that rolling hills and thick forests give. Secondly, a lot of indie rock provokes nostalgia from me. Two songs in particular really do it.
[small]*-Please note that though staring wistfully out of windows does make you appear deep and emotional, it is not recommended for extended use. If you experience a daydream lasting more than four hours, contact your doctor immediately. Do not stare out of windows if you are pregnant, nursing, or may become pregnant. Common side effects include depression, drowsiness, and inability to pay attention to the matter at hand.[/small]

FYI, I loved this song long before the WTWTA trailer appeared.
Is Currently Not Available because WMG is a *****. Go look it up somewhere.
